Some days a wig feels like more than I want…I love that I can add volume, a little extra length, and still wear my hair down, half up, or throw it into a ponytail. It gives me so many styling options while still feeling like me.One thing I get asked a lot is how I wear a topper in a ponytail. While lace front toppers are typically designed to sit right along (or just slightly in front of) your hairline, and non-lace front toppers are usually worn about 1–1½ inches behind your hairline to blend with your own front pieces... there isn’t just one “right” way.When I’m wearing my hair up, I slick my own front sections back. I pull those pieces forward first, place the topper, then blend everything back together into one ponytail. For me, the messier the better—it gives that effortless, beachy look I love.The topper I’m wearing is the Jon Renau Top Trend 14” Wavy.
