One of my favourite things about the ski and outdoor industry is the camaraderie. It’s often like truckers on the highway who greet each other with a honk or a wave, and I am sure these guys would help each other in any situation, just like mountain people.

This photo of Johan Jonsson, aka @jonsbert, was taken during a moment like that, on a beautiful February day in Engelberg, Switzerland. Filming and shooting on assignment for Salomon, our group ran into Johan and filmmaker Henrik “Bergman” Andersson. Instead of being frustrated that we were in the same area, we decided to work together and combine efforts, adding more cameras and eyes to the action. By sundown, after an epic day in the field, I noticed a fairly large cliff and asked if anyone had the energy to hit it. I didn’t really think anyone would, but Johan didn’t hesitate. An ex-racer who transitioned into freeskiing long ago, he developed a knack for photo composition. In this moment, he grasped my vision instantly, nailing it perfectly on the first try. Descending into the valley with headlamps, we quite appropriately joined the celebratory après scene at @skilodgeengelberg

Conditions haven’t been shoot worthy many days since I came here. But hey, skiing’s awesome anyway! @mattias.h.karlsson have always had the right mindset, and I’m always happy to follow him around. This is from one top to bottom run in Steinberg.

I’m skiing the @blizzard_tecnica Canvas 108 in 186cm and the Decoy Pro boots. @atkbindings FR15 Evo bindings, unlocked.

I fckn love skiing.

@marcuscaston and I showing a jet lagged @drew.gilmore some mellow runs on his first day in Engelberg. 😂 We were shooting some stuff for the @blizzard_tecnica Anomaly skis with @ricksorensenphoto and @vast_works, and were just getting into it. I was expecting some snow that would slow us down, but got icy moguls instead. Haha. Good fun. Sorry Drew.

Some 22 years after @beatagellerbrant put her hands down my pants and said ”Nooo, you don’t need to leave the party this early” we finally bought some rings and got it done. Not living in sin any longer since ten days. 22 years of kissing, loving, screaming at each other, distance relationship, Engelberg, Stockholm, Malung, Oslo, Östersund, two apartments, two houses, two kids, misunderstandings and mutual agreements. ”Life”, I guess.

We didn’t have a wedding (but we ARE looking into having some kind of proper party at some point, we promise), but celebrated with some close friends and a pretty incredible range pf food and drinks (last photos). Haha.

I read somewhere that people who post a lot about their partners and relationships are the least happy ones, but hoping I’ll get away with this one. Cause from time to time Bea might try her best to get me to change my mind on this, but she’s the one I’ll grow old with. Cheers to another 50 years darling. by @jonsbert

September first today which means no more trout fishing in most Swedish waters. Was a good summer though! Well, it was a fckn shit summer weather wise up here, but maybe that means it’s gonna be a hood winter instead! Aiming for that.

Went went fishing.

We caught some fish, drank some beer and spent some time out of cell service, so I’m calling success.
