✨✨ A Re-Introduction✨✨

Hi, I'm Jonta Kamara! After three years of public health blogging and creating content, I celebrated this milestone with a photoshoot.

Originally from Sierra Leone, I am a health systems and policy analyst working to strengthen African countries' health systems and empower professionals in their careers. My 4 years of public health experience includes working in government, academia, and UN organizations in Nigeria🇳🇬, Canada🇨🇦, UK🇬🇧, USA🇺🇸.

🎓 I hold a Master of Public Health with Merit from King's College (@lifeatkings) & an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree with Distinction in Health Studies with a double minor in African Studies and Immunology from the University of Toronto (@uoft @uoftafricanstudies @newcollegeuoft).

🦠 I have training in infectious disease epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (@johnshopkinssph), operational research training from the WHO-TDR (@who), and program evaluation from the CDC (@cdcgov).
