February was CRAZY. Went from Sunday mornings at mL to Mighty Shock then to Culture Shock rehearsals but it was so WORTH IT.

It all started from taking David & Brandi’s class at the new @movement.lifestyle studio and seeing the flyer for the mL Progressive program with @denzel_chisolm and I’ve always admired his work and dance quality/movement. So, I decided to take a chance on myself, have an open mind and learn from him for the first time through this program.

These 4 weeks were definitely a big push as I really wanted to work on my movement execution quality, confidence in my performance and even challenge myself from standing normally in the back to being in the front. And when I got called out for Week 3, I was so honored but super nervous because it has never happened to me before ever and I just really had to mentally stay calm, breathe and take everything you said before about that “push” at the end to heart and go for it. I was just super grateful for that push from you and the support from my progressive classmates 🥹🙏

There were just so many things I learned and took away from Denzel’s words during this time, watching JT & Janet Jackson’s tours and each progressive week’s uploaded videos and it really helped make me much more conscious of what I can work on, for myself. This experience has definitely enhanced my inspiration to train more again and work towards my dance career goals that I’ve set aside for a while.

I’m still processing a lot of it but I am just so blessed and grateful for your time and insight you shared with us these 4 weeks and wish I could do this every Sunday morning. I am sad that it’s over but I’m very happy with my growth from it and I am looking forward to continuing to be a student and train more with you when the opportunity comes again. Red is one of my favorite colors. I always wanted to be the red Power Ranger or the Flash. I love hot Cheetos and kimchi. And I like listening to Red Hot Chili Peppers. Yep...!! It’s honestly been quite a long time since I’ve created something and shared it. I feel like there’s a time when you’re feeling the need to post something on social media and then overtime you start to overthink it and analyze your own work that it just makes it not fun to post anymore. But it’s normal as a dancer, choreographer and/or creative artist. And we all are sharing on our own time and when we want to.

So, here I am back in some kind of way, sharing something that I enjoy the most. Exchanging with friends and connecting through dance especially with my small newfound love of KPop and my bias @nayeonyny 🫶

Here is a piece that I created from a class I taught at @impactdancexwellness for their intensive that I enjoyed a lot. Nayeon had came out with her first solo album this last June and I was really feeling one of her new songs and just had to do it. I also felt hungry to learn again and train in foundation so I was taking class more often and revisiting my first ever love & style of dance I learned - Locking. Locking has always been a fun style of movement, very empowering and something that makes me happy. So much love to the people back then who shared this style with me 🙏🏼

I wanted to start doing my own personal “dance sessions” with friends just to create, share and exchange with. Special thanks to the brother @johntieng for sharing some video camera expertise with me so I can purchase a new camera for sessions and blogging. I also wanted to share some extra gratitude to these amazing ladies from my dance families, for coming through for this little session, to learn this piece and shoot it in two hours. I appreciate y’all so much 😊🫰🏼

No crazy edits or anything, just sharing some fun. And hopefully it’s just the first of many more sessions to exchange with friends, enjoy! ❤️

What a memorable night. I was so honored to share the floor with the community of past and present at @reclaimandrise.co to learn this iconic piece. This space is special. 2010 me learned this dance off of YouTube and 2026 me is now feeling fulfilled after finally learning “Sure Thing” from the legend himself. Happy New Month!!

As it’s the last month of 2025, I am finally getting a chance to share some highlights of this year and past.

I had the opportunity to take my second intensive with Marty and instead of a 4 week process with mL, it was his School.ed intensive (4 days) which felt way more quick, intense, challenging and also very insightful. This one felt way more intimate and beneficial this time around. I am personally really grateful for you @mrkudelka for sharing your time, artistry and knowledge with us, as these tasks/assignments really pushed me and opened my eyes to things I never knew possible in my dance career and I still feel really inspired to do more with it in my time of age. Thank you so much 🥹🙏🏽

I’m personally looking forward to share more in the near future with a couple of projects. Doing my best to keep myself accountable and motivated to do so.

I am truly honored and appreciative to have the support of my friends for being apart of this little homework/project I had for the intensive. Meeting all in one night to get it done has its pros and cons but I loved the challenge and appreciate my friend’s patience on it.

This was a round 2 to my Taylor Swift submission which I’ll eventually share that one, one day. But for now, I was just proud of how this one came out and didn’t want to gatekeep it too long. So, I hope you all enjoy this one for now! ☺️

feeling grateful ✨

celebrating another year of life with a few folks that were down to get dim sum with me on a Sunday morning. thank you friends for your time and sacrifice of rest🥹🫶🏽

personal birthday planning is hard sometimes because you just wanna invite everyone but at a dim sum restaurant, that’s difficult. so i hope to celebrate with everyone another time whether its through the next event, in passing or over a meal. but feeling happy today and appreciative for everyone and all the birthday wishes.

Never posted a reel before so here we go…

Starting off the new month of November with some classes at @movement.lifestyle and had the urge to just train this weekend and I really wanted to learn this piece because of the movement and throwback song. @brandichun moves just feels right and comfortable to the body. Who woulda thought I would be moving like this 20 years later since I started dancing. Young me would be so proud. Especially being willing and bold enough to do a solo run (which we didn’t have a choice in class 🤣🤣 but hey we were all challenged to do so). And everyone was different and fun to watch 😊

The Making 〽️🖤💛

Life’s been on the go and just super busy but I am slowly posting past moments, events and memories as I go…

Last weekend was the Making (2) and it was a long but wholesome weekend. Loved every rehearsal, moment and getting the opportunity to perform multiple times with the people I truly love, respect, appreciate and inspired by. I love you @cultureshockla & @makerempire 💜💛

Thank you @beaufp for everything. It’s always an honor and privilege getting to share the stage with Mischief and just dance with the people who pushes me as a dancer/artist, helps build my confidence and is so much fun and fierce.
