‘Llanwit’ . Oil on canvass.

A recent painting of a lovely friend’s favourite surf spot for his 30th Birthday.

Really enjoyed doing this painting. Completed using only titanium white and paynes grey.

A bit more work done on this painting. Working on the middle ground trying to capture the light around Cape Cornwall and and on the cliffs. There is a subtle rainbow effect from the sea spray which I have tried to capture. Had a first pass of the beach which hasn’t gone well, but I’ll get it right!

Finished!

After a lot of fiddling about resolving some of the problems it is now a finished painting!

@antheagreenjones @stuartgreen007 just needs a bit of drying time.

Sky finished.
