Joost Kroon stopped by our office to pick up his new drum kit — and as you can see, he’s absolutely thrilled with his new Tama Starclassic Maple in Satin Aztec Gold Metallic.
The setup features a 22”x14” bass drum, 12”x8” tom, and 16”x16” floor tom. Joost can’t wait to take this kit on the road this summer! #tamadrums #starclassicmaple #happydrummer #feelingallright by @joost_kroon

We’re beyond excited to welcome Joost Kroon to the Meinl family!!
Joost is one of the most in-demand drummers in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. A longtime member of New Cool Collective (since 2003) and Sven Hammond (since 2005), he’s also shared the stage and studio with incredible artists like Ladies Of Soul, Kane, Candy Dulfer, Jelle Cleymans, Tino Martin, Wirtz, JB Meijers, and many more.
As a seasoned studio musician, Joost has played on countless albums, singles, soundtracks, and commercials—now mostly from his own studio. Beyond performing, he’s shaping the next generation as the principal drum teacher of the pop department at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
Welcome to the family, Joost!

Joost is using:
