Being a business owner forces you to have to figure it out as you go (theres no playbook) and realize that as much as you may want to, you can’t always do it all yourself.

You need people in your corner who get that you have a life outside the client calls, deadlines and strategy sessions.

People who respect that sometimes you’re leading, sometimes you’re hustling sometimes you’re just trying to make it to your toddler’s bedtime.
But more than that—you need to let go of doing everything yourself.

The shift happens when you realise that delegation isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom

“If it was easy, everyone would do it”

One of the biggest lessons I learned from my Dad at an early age was to take risks and be okay with failure. I am so grateful for this lesson, even though sometimes it means I have to learn things the hard way by doing them myself.

This is your reminder that failure, mistakes and risk are all part of business (and life)! There is no playbook for one way to do things, but failure is inevitable. If you want to succeed, you have to learn how to have the grit to pick yourself back up and keep going!
