If you’re new here, this is the context 👇

All artists I work with aren’t bad at music.
They care deeply.
They’ve just hit that point where the song feels almost finished but never quite release-ready.

That’s where I come in.

This page is for artists who want to move forward without losing what makes their music theirs.
If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place.

✅ full control of your sound ✅ unlimited revisions ✅ a pro sounding track, ready to release ✅ hands-on tailored service to meet your needs.

📩 DM ‘ready’ to create something amazing.

Sending your song to someone else can feel exposing.
That hesitation usually isn’t about money or plugins, it’s about trust.

I don’t start mixing until I understand the intention behind the song:
what it’s meant to feel like, what matters most, and what you don’t want to lose.

Clear communication is the foundation of a great mix.
The more I understand your vision, the better I can protect it and translate it into something release-ready.

If you’re stuck at that “almost finished” point and unsure what happens next - this is how I work.

📩 DM ‘ready’ - let’s create something amazing.

November is here and that means we are fast approaching the end of 2026.

I still have some limited spaces left for this year. Send me a DM, let me listen to what you’re working on 😊

October was such a fantastic month for me, both personally, and career-wise. I miss it already. It will soon be time to say goodbye to Autumn - so forgiving and beautiful. As Winter creeps in, big changes are coming! I can’t wait for you to see what’s in store for 2027 👀 by @jordan.mix.engineer

Happy release day to @katarinaroberts! I had the pleasure of mixing and mastering her incredible album ‘From A Previous Life’.

Katarina manages to weave so many influences into her music, each song felt like a new gift for me to mix. It’s been such an incredibly rewarding and fun experience helping you bring this album to life Kat.

The album is fantastic and enjoyed best in it’s entirety.

Everyone, go grab some headphones, put the album on and enjoy where it takes you.

Happy release day to @isaacmartinmusicofficial. I had the pleasure of mixing and mastering “The Universe is Done Expanding”.

Isaac brought a really well recorded group of files to me, so I already had a fantastic foundation to build the mix.

The bass line in this track is phenomenal and incredibly melodic, I wanted it to have power and presence but do its job as the driving rhythm of the track.

This song will be stuck in your head for days. Go check it out!

You’re a DIY artist. You do everything yourself - including all the engineering.

BUT, you’re struggling to release music because it still doesn’t sound right and you’re not happy with it. I hear this a lot from ‘DIY Artists’ and it can be a real struggle to get past that point.

You may even abandon the song completely after months of mixing. But think about…you’re doing EVERYTHING.

You started with writing, then arrangement, recording, producing, and now mixing. You’ve spent so long with the song that you think you have to change a thousand things or it ‘should’ have lots of plugins on. So you go round and round until you end up realising the first version was better…but it’s still not good enough to release.

So you move on to the next song. This isn’t functional. Imagine if there was a mix engineer who could take the pressure off you and mix to a pro standard, leaving you with time to creating more songs and enjoy being an artist…

If only you knew a mix engineer… 👀

(Do yourself a favour and send me a DM, show me your great songs with poor mixes, I’ll help)

If you’re new here, welcome!

I’m a mixing and mastering engineer, and I work with independent artists, just like you, to help bring their music to life.

I love getting to hear what people are creating, and helping them shape their sound, so they can proudly release their music. No more muddy mixes or being afraid to show your friends and family an ‘okay’ mix!

If you’ve got music on the go at the minute, tell me a little about it. Always interested to hear what people are working on.

My DMs are open!

I have conversations with artists every single day of my working life and I keep learning so much.

These conversations actually change the way I work and shape the services I offer to you. Yet I still hear the same thing being repeated - an artist gets stuck on a mix and the song never releases.

As an artist, that must really hurt. It’s your creative expression and outlet and you deserve to have your music sounding the best it possibly can.

I’d love to hear your mix - tell me what you’re stuck on. My DM’s are always open 😊

Happy release day to @dickeyburgess! I had the absolute pleasure of mastering “Poor Boy”.

I love projects like this. So much character and personality. A range of influences throughout the track and the master helped to lift elements and glue some other parts together when needed. I wasn’t heavy handed at all as I loved the intimacy of the mix and needed to keep that intact. A beautiful song!

Some artists feel that they should clean up a few things before sending a rough mix to me and I completely disagree!

Your definition of ‘clean up’ may completely destroy that element of human emotion and connection in your song.

It’s quite a vulnerable thing to do - send your rough mix to an engineer. It’s your art. You’ve been working on it for a while and are very close to it. But there’s no judgment from me. You’re not a mix engineer and that’s why you’re sending me the rough mix in the first place!

All of these little details are a gift to me. They show the rawness of your performance - the emotion you captured when you pressed record. This really helps me do my job properly.

Of course, some songs do require some more clean up and those elements may need to be removed in order to get the best out of the song. This is why ‘intention’ matters so much when mixing. Focus on the feel of the song and the mix, and you’re on to a winner!

One of the easiest ways to get too caught up in a mix is to stare at it for hours.

Waveforms. Meters. EQ curves. Analysers. Plugin windows. Tiny little details you probably wouldn’t even notice if you were just listening to the song.

So sometimes I’ll just step away from the screen and listen. Sometimes I’ll simply turn the screen off.

No looking at what’s happening. No analysing every little thing. Just listening to the song.

Because ultimately, that’s how everyone else is going to hear it.

And sometimes the second you stop looking at the mix, you hear what actually needs fixing. It’s a game changer!

If you’re still stuck mixing your own music and not releasing, DM ‘ready’ and I’ll tell you what’s missing from your rough mix.
