Being on Broadway has been my 11:11 wish since I learned what 11:11 was. When I found out in February that I would be making my Broadway debut, I was terrified that that thing I had always wanted wouldn’t live up to the dream that I had concocted in my head.

I was wrong. It was everything I had dreamed of and more.

I got an ACTUAL Broadway opening night. I got to perform on Broadway for my parents and my brother. Countless friends and family flew out to see me at the Winter Garden. I performed on the Today Show. I [virtually] met Kelly Clarkson.

I did the math. 6 months, 8 sold out shows a week, often with standing room. That comes out to approximately 333,696 people. For six months, I got to be part of something on Broadway that made 333,696 people laugh and cry and smile and sing and dance and cheer. That will forever be one of the greatest privileges and honors of my life.

Getting into a Broadway show is a game of preparation and chance. And somehow, I get to live in the universe where I hit the jackpot.

Six months at the Winter Garden will never feel like enough. But I’ll forever be grateful for the gift that it was.

Happy Broadway closing, Mamma Mia.

What a joy. What a life. What a chance 🩵 taken in Winter Garden Theatre by @jordan_deleon_
