when I first picked up a camera and stepped into wedding photography, I carried a very specific dream with me. I imagined my work living in places like vanity fair and vogue. I pictured being asked. chosen. noticed in the way I thought success was supposed to look.recently, I was invited to be featured in vanity fair through an advertisement. it was really hard for me to sit with.there was a moment where I questioned myself. where I wondered if this counted. if it meant I was falling short of the version of the dream I once held so tightly.but growth has a way of gently reshaping our perspective.what I’ve come to understand is that dreams don’t disappear, they evolve. and sometimes the invitation arrives differently than we imagined, but it is still an invitation all the same.not every photographer is given this opportunity. I was asked to be there. to share space with artists I deeply admire. and that deserves to be acknowledged.so yes, this looks different than the story I once told myself.but it’s still my work. my journey. my name on the page.and I’m learning to honor that with pride, gratitude, and a little more softness toward myself. by @jordanadickson

As always, wedding season has given me so much. I had the privilege of working with incredible vendors, travelled to new places, and created intentional work. I finally found more of a balance, was flooded with fun & cool opportunities, and documented so many beautiful love stories & seasons of life. Each year I can’t believe this is my life. My gratitude is endless. Thank you to every single one of you for trusting and choosing me. I am deeply excited for next year 🥹 by @jordanadickson

✨ When the sneaky peeks hit… 🥺🤍Lucy & Leo came to me in October dreaming of an intimate celebration surrounded by their favourite humans. Lucy wanted all the pretty details, and Leo wanted whatever Lucy wanted. 😂 (We love that for her.)We debated mountain or beach for about two seconds, but the moment they visited Villa Eyrie Resort, the decision was made.From day one, Lucy gave me the greatest gift a planner and designer can receive: her trust. “I love everything you do.” “I trust you.” Those words allowed me to dream big, create freely, and pour my whole heart into this day.Designing and planning alongside these two was inspiring, joyful, and the kind of project that reminds me exactly why I love what I do.I’ll never get over this beautiful love story.
