Out now via @pinkdinocorp

You too can benefit from the esoteric learnings and hidden energies contained within.

This song, which is from the next record, is about that relationship. And I now you might read this think damn this guy is sad and needs to be reassured, but I’m trying to figure out how to actually capture the true feeling, which is a kind of intense love and acceptance of this part of ourselves.

Kind of like the part of the movie where the one person goes we’re not so different you and I, and its like woah they’re love each other in a complicated way.

I’m living in a reluctant partners buddy cop bromance with my own internal critic.

The Listening Room (@thisisthelisteningroom) welcomes Brandon Robbins for a special intimate performance showcasing stripped-down songs, cinematic storytelling, and the emotional depth that has made The Moth & The Flame (@themothandtheflame) a favorite among indie rock audiences nationwide.

Known for blending atmospheric textures with deeply personal songwriting, Robbins brings a raw and reflective energy to the listening room format, allowing the songs to take center stage in an entirely new way.

Support for the evening comes from Jordan Burchel (@jordanburchel) whose thoughtful songwriting and understated performances make him a perfect fit for the night.

Comment below: what are the versions of this for other cities?

This is a niche experience but I swear this guy is at every merch table like nurse joy in pokemon.

There are of course many more but @spinsterabbotts @thebullgnv @treehouseartspace @thisisthelisteningroom and @the___backbar are hosting Brandon Robbins of @themothandtheflame and me this upcoming week, so they are on my mind!

Each of these venues/projects and the beautiful people behind them work tirelessly (and often thanklessly) to platform artists and create magic for music lovers.

10/15 - Spinster Abbott’s - St. Augustine
10/16 - Treehouse Art Space - Neptune Beach
10/17 - Back Bar - Atlantic Beach
10/18 - The Bull - Gainesville

Actual independent artists and labels probably need to move on from the trappings of the indie music idea, or at least have fun with whatever actual advantages we have by being small and un-moneyed. Hyper local, actual direct community engagement, etc.

The associates and I had a great time in Jacksonville for day 1 of @flfinfest. So stoked we were able to play this one.

Big shout out to the band of dreams, @grammamossy @show_n_tell_neighborhood @acamp412 @michaelkclaytor

Big shout out to @maxg_32 for coming in and crushing it on drums.

Big shout out to @officialbubbagump Jax beach. Give everyone who worked the night of September 11th 2026 a raise please.
