So grateful for the opportunity to paint with @coloroutsidelines again! With the assistance of some amazing foster teens we honored someone who is very special to me. Vietnam war veteran, anti war and veterans rights activist, Ron Kovic. Ron wrote the book “Born On The Fourth Of July” about his experience and involvement in the Vietnam war, which left him paralyzed from the waste down. The book later became the movie by Oliver Stone. My brothers and I used to care for Ron when we were kids, as we all lived in the same neighborhood together. I’ve wanted to honor his spirit and his devotion to justice for quite some time. Thank you for including me @coloroutsidelines taken in Goat Blocks by @jordandomont
