Manifesting for when I take my startup public by @jordangoldmeier

My time in nyc is almost over, but my next journey is about to begin.

A lot of people describe me as charismatic, but for such a long time, I would have described myself as awkward. I struggled to meet new people. And filled my time by smoking weed.

But that changed when I made a concerted effort 2 years ago. Thus began a long journey of making me consider what it is I want out of relationships.

My social journey hasn’t been perfect. I say silly things sometimes. I’m still clumsy, frequently spilling on myself when talking to new people. But mainly I’ve stopped caring. There is a big world out there, and it doesn’t matter what I say or do. I am what I am.

And these moments are funny.

I have something I’m working on next which I can’t describe in full until 2026 begins. But it goes beyond the need for posing on Instagram for validation. That world, which has made up much of the last 2 years is over.

I’ve had fun. But it’s also brought about a lot of emptiness. People come into my life and then they leave. It was fun in a few moments, but it wasn’t what I thought it was.

I’m not against the idea of men aligning to a more ideal version of themselves. But somethings I just can’t care about even when I try.

My next vision is building. Building something bigger than myself, bigger than I’ve ever built before.

I don’t really care anymore who likes me or who doesn’t. There are some people in this world who I don’t like. So if someone doesn’t like me in return, that’s fair. Fair’s fair.

But I do feel good. I went from being shy to being talkative. Everywhere I go I talk to people. I learn about their lives and what they value. This experience I wouldn’t replace for anything.

Not everyone has been able to come with me on this journey. Some won’t even talk to me anymore. It’s sad in some moments. But true connection means respecting the choice of others. Fair’s fair.

I can’t be everything for everyone. But I can be something for myself. And I can create something bigger than myself.

And that’s good enough for me ✌️ by @jordangoldmeier

Thank you to everyone who came out to my Art Show - and my secret 40th birthday celebration 🥳

This was my most ambitious event yet, and it wouldn’t have been possible without my incredible event coordinator Dina (@felix__thelab), who brought it all to life.

Huge thanks to the artists who made the night unforgettable:
@vanessateodoro
@emilypeilan
@ritalifestyle

And to @the_nudge_lisboa for hosting us in such a beautiful space.

Here’s to year 40🥂 I have a feeling it’s going to be the best one yet. by @jordangoldmeier

Since March, I’ve been building events.

It hasn’t always been easy.

I’ve second-guessed myself.
Wondered if I was being annoying over DMs.
Worried some people might hate how they looked on camera.
Laid in bed asking, “Is this worth it?”

But then I remember—

I’ve done cold outreach.
I’ve built from zero.
I’ve felt this fear before.

And every time, it meant I was on the right path.

Doing something new always triggers the voice that says:
“You’re ruining your reputation.”

But you’re not.

You’re growing.
You’re becoming more visible.
And some people won’t like it.

Do it anyway.

I used to think confidence meant not being nervous.
Now I know it means doing it while not caring.

We’re all going to die.
Might as well try. ☮️ by @jordangoldmeier
