POSTS STORIES REELS

I don’t think I’ve ever made an introduction here, and I think it’s long overdue. My name is Jordan. My hobbies include hanging out with my golden retrievers, hanging out with my friends, going to concerts, and thrifting! My favorite color is orange, and I love all things bird and bug related.

I am an artist and illustrator born and raised in Georgia. I am a @scaddotedu alumni with a BFA in illustration. No medium is off limits in my work, but my favorites are gouache and digital. Anything vibrant that will make me and others smile is what I strive to make. My goal is to always highlight the small and unassuming things in life. I have worked in so many art fields over the years and love to tell my stories using all of them. Now that we’ve made ourselves acquainted, follow along for the rest of the ride. by @jordanlstudios

I have been hard at work developing and planning for this year, and what I decided is you guys will get to venture into my world. You have been here all along , but you just didn’t know. All the monthly illustrations, my 3D dioramas of the Pigeon Post and the Octometrist that I showed in my monthly recaps, they all are the same world. They all have stories that I have created that go along with them but they have lived in my head until now. It is all the town of Thistle Hill, and I want to share the stories, characters, and places that happen here.

Most of this will take place on patreon so go become a member (it’s free) over there! The link is in my bio. Every member will get a story that goes along with each month’s illustrated and my Fun mail members will get quarterly post cards and stickers from Thistle Hill. Come join the Journey! by @jordanlstudios

Happy Friday! I wanted to do a highlight for my cake portrait ornaments that I make. They are 3 dimensional portraits of real cakes people have had. They are made from solid wood and are 3 - 5 inches. These make wonderful gifts and keepsakes for friends and family. Haven’t had a wedding cake? No problem! Any special cake deserves a portrait.
