I successfully passed the Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology, completing the LAST step in my journey towards licensure and joining less than 2% of Black Male Psychologists. To think this all started in 2011 and all of the things that have changed to this point….. IYKYK getting across this finish line took me through there and then some, but God, my mom, and Beyoncé! 🙌🏾

I am finally a Clinical and Sport Psychologist 🥹😭 #EPPP by @jordanmcollins_

On November 17th, 2023 I lost one of the most important people in my life, Shanel René Womack. My sister was the most compassionate, caring, and gentle person I had the privilege of knowing. I’ll miss my first best friend, second mom, and biggest supporter more than I can put into words. As a little brother, I couldn’t be more proud of the long and courageous fight Shanel put up all while being an amazing mother. Although she never complained once, I’m comforted in knowing she is pain free and reunited with our brother Jared in a much better place. I will always love you, Shanel 💛

Please pray for and send positivity to my family, especially my mom and niece Jariah.
And if you have a sibling, hug them for me.

Services will be held Tuesday November 28th, 2023

Visitation: 9:00am-10:00am
Service: 10:00am-11:00am

Grace United Methodist Church
1612 East Capitol Avenue

I’m no stranger to grief, but I’m still learning how to process it. The hardest part is going through it. The easiest part is celebrating the beautiful moments and remembering the good times that happened. If you were fortunate to know Nick, you know he was a fighter (literally and figuratively), funny, and he always had your back. I’ll always remember my Uncle Nick as one of first friends and biggest supporters. I love you and will miss you dearly, Unc 💙.

If you shared a moment with Nick, please share it below. It would help my Papa and the rest of my family process this tremendous loss. by @jordanmcollins_
