Albany State, these years have been nothing short of transformative. As a proud member of the National Council of Negro Women (NCNW), I’ve witnessed the power of sisterhood and community, pushing me to advocate for change and support others. Serving as Treasurer of the Health and Human Performance (HHP) Club, I’ve learned the value of leadership, responsibility, and teamwork, all while fostering a passion for wellness that will stay with me forever. As a member of Active Minds, I’ve come to understand the importance of mental health awareness, finding strength in the vulnerability to speak up and support others. Each of these roles has not only shaped me into a more well-rounded individual but has also solidified my connection to the Albany State legacy of service, growth, and resilience. With just seven days left before graduation, I look back with gratitude and forward with excitement for how these experiences will guide me into the next chapter of my life. Albany State has been the foundation of my journey, and I carry its lessons in my heart, forever proud to be part of the unsinkable institution that molded me.
