54 Below: The London Women Songbook aka MY DIRECTING DEBUTTT 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽

It was just a night of singing Olivia Dean when I had the most intense desire to perform her music on a stage- I didn’t care where or how it was done and thus this cabaret was born. Instead of just doing Olivia Dean, I decided to celebrate the music of all women from London, bc damn there’s SO many good ones to choose from!!!

NOTE: this is not the end of this story, this music or beautiful performance we all created. this is only the beginning… stay tuned 💓

Thank you to my right hand @cassidyoco for not only leading/teaching the music, but for CREATING it from that brilliant mind of yours. Thank you @_karisisabel for thinking big and forming our partnership with @bronxdefenders where we could make an even bigger difference with our art.

to the BAND for being one of the strongest group of musicians I’ve ever worked with-
Guitar: @thisyna
Piano: @cassidyoco
Drums: @abby_rdguez
Bass: @elizabethm218 (& one of the most beautiful performers)
Sax: @jax.on.sax

& the best cast of babes I could’ve ever asked for:
Charli XCX: @_karisisabel
MARINA: @_lolalama_
Adele: @sara_j_gordon @dreamongil
Amy Winehouse: @nataliaisabellugo
Estelle: @gabrielarosadiazz
Sade: @abbycallahan
Lola Young: @jessiekaplan
Lily Allen: @phoebeskovitz
Wet Leg & Wolf Alice: @julesalati
Kate Bush: @anniet2003
Imogen Heap: all us lowk
Raye: @julianaa.smith
Natasha Bedingfield: @elizabethm218
