Finalist proposal for the new Maksimir Stadium by Jorge Vidal Studio, @arquitecturag , and @bollingergrohmann . Integrated with Maksimir Park, the project connects the city and sports facilities through public spaces and green corridors. The stadium organizes its program vertically and compactly to minimize its footprint, keeping the ground plane connected to the landscape and adjacent football fields. Public plazas, commercial spaces, and shared training facilities create an active, connected sports campus beyond match days. 1st prize New Sant Jordi Club avec BRUTHER The Sant Jordi Club is inscribed in a direct dialogue with the Palau Sant Jordi designed by Arata Isozaki. More than an autonomous object, the building is conceived as a natural extension of the Olympic ring.Three principles structure this relationship. The first is altimetric. The Sant Jordi Club aligns with the level of the Palau to extend the built topography of the site. The second is volumetric. The height of the building is set below the line of the Palau’s great dome in order to preserve its presence in the landscape. The third is constructive. The Palau’s 3.60-meter grid is extended into the project and organizes the placement of the new pavilion. Nova Seu de la Delegació Territorial del Govern de la Generalitat a Lleida - Competition proposal Designing the new headquarters for the Territorial Delegation of the Government of Catalonia in Lleida is not only about creating an administrative building, but about rethinking the role of public architecture in the 21st century: an open, adaptable, and climate-conscious institution connected to both the city and its landscape. The proposal becomes an opportunity to extend the Seu Vella park and bring greenery deeper into the urban fabric. The building frees up ground space to create a new public park, while its permeable ground floor and large civic hall establish a transparent relationship between citizens and public administration. The project is organized around a flexible modular system that allows infinite spatial configurations over time, ensuring adaptability, efficiency, and long-term sustainability. The prefabricated and modular façade gives the building a timeless and civic character, contrasting with the openness and permeability of the surrounding park. Passive climate strategies, cross ventilation, thermal inertia, geothermal systems, and green roofs work together to create a low-emission and energy-efficient public building. Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria Industrial de Barcelona E.T.S.E.I.B. - Competition proposal Expanding the Barcelona T. S. School of Industrial Engineering is not only about providing the UPC with more space, but also about taking the opportunity to update and build the university of the 21st century: a climatic and social campus that responds to today’s most urgent needs , climate change and social integration. We believe that what we build is just as important as the void we create: the proposed central square emerges as a large courtyard for exchange and meeting among students, organizing the new volume, which is divided into three clear, linear pieces. The central volume rises as a counterpoint to the two existing towers, freeing up as much ground space as possible and adding a new entrance to an ETSEIB that is more open to students and, ultimately, to the city of Barcelona. Galeria Mayoral. An exhibition space in constant transformation, where anti-design becomes a strategy for interior adaptation. The gallery is conceived as a living organism, open to continuous change through each artistic intervention. The project begins with an act of stripping—removing layers to reveal the traces of time hidden within the walls. Each artist reinterprets this exposed architecture, re-dressing the space through their own material presence. Four dematerialized and functional elements organize the space, creating a continuous dialogue between history, material, and contemporary action.
