🎬 Movie night, VIP style! 🍿

My first visit to the Galaxy Cinema at AEON Mall in Da Nang, and what a surprise! We went to see Avengers Endgame and decided to try the VIP experience and honestly, it was amazing!

Huge, super-comfortable reclining seats, fluffy blankets, loads of space, great service and that special feeling of having your own little cinema experience. And at just 300,000 VND (£8.73) for the VIP ticket which included a welcome drink, I thought it was fantastic value.

Definitely a very different way to watch a movie… and one I’ll 100% be doing again. 🎥🍿🇻🇳

🇻🇳❤️ Back to Bếp Hên in Da Nang

I brought my brother (@les.dixon3) here this time as I wanted him to experience this lovely little restaurant — particularly its beautiful, characterful decor and relaxed atmosphere.

@bephenrestaurant has been Michelin Selected several times, so naturally that added to the appeal. The team were super friendly and welcoming, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch together.

Although the food was great for me it was the atmosphere, decor and overall experience that made the visit worthwhile.

Sometimes it’s not just about what’s on the plate, it’s about the place you’re sitting in and who you’re sharing it with. ❤️

☕️🇻🇳 A little slice of Vietnam’s coffee culture…

Vietnam is one of the world’s great coffee countries — the second-largest coffee exporter in the world and the leading producer of Robusta coffee. But coffee here is about so much more than the beans.

It’s a ritual. A reason to sit. To talk. To watch the world go by. And sometimes, to discover somewhere like @nam_house_cafe.

This fabulous little vintage café feels like stepping through a doorway into another Vietnam. Old radios, battered furniture, vintage signs, scooters, photographs, ceramics, plants and treasures everywhere you look… every corner seems to have a story.

And that’s what I love about Vietnamese cafés. They aren’t just somewhere to grab a coffee. They’re places with personality, history and a real sense of nostalgia.

So we sat down, had a coffee, soaked up the atmosphere… and took a little trip back in time. ❤️

Pulling up at my friends @tamtayfitness and @__zsfit new gym on their opening day and I couldn’t help but feel super proud and emmotional at what they have achieved.

Just 4 months ago work on this site commenced and since then they have worked tirelessly to bring to Da Nang the latest state of the art @tamtay_fitnesscenter.

I was a founding member of the TamTay family when @tamtaygym no 1 opened in July 2025 and I am so excited to now be a member at this fantastic new fitness centre.

Congratulations guys, well done on all you have achieved and whilst I am sure you won’t need it I wish you ever success. ❤️💪❤️

Con Market, Da Nang has existed on this site since the 1940s. 🇻🇳

If you want to experience the real hustle and bustle of Da Nang, then Con Market is definitely worth a wander! 😍

One of the city’s oldest and busiest markets, it’s packed with 2000 colourful stalls selling pretty much everything you can imagine — fresh fruit, vegetables, seafood, clothes, souvenirs and, of course, FOOD! 🌶️🥢🍜

The food area is an experience in itself… it’s busy, noisy, colourful and wonderfully chaotic — it was great fun to explore and @shazzababy1968 and I loved it. ❤️

Some people ask us, “Why does a gym need a community?”

For us, it’s simple.
TamTay is different because we care about people. We’re not just here to train — we’re here to connect, support each other, and become like family. ❤️

Today is Jo’s 60th birthday! 🎂🥳
She has been part of TamTay for 1 year, and today, people from the gym came together to celebrate her.

Different countries. Different backgrounds.
Some didn’t know each other before TamTay.

But here, we meet. We talk. We laugh. We become friends. 🌴🌊

Maybe some people will complain and say, “Why do you do this?”

We had such a lovely time celebrating Julia’s (@akydus ) birthday.

When rain meant our plans to party on the beach needed to be amended it was an easy pivot to switch and go to @onenessdanangsaunalovers.

Some of us had been before and some not but it’s safe to say after such a positive, relaxing, invigorating afternoon we will be going again.

Initially we chilled out in the various pools and saunas and then @alyson_simms led a beautiful gong bath and guided meditation session… it was so special.

Afterwards we went to Food With Love (@fwl.vn) where we raised a toast, ate and enjoyed cake… a special day for a special lady.
