Sooo… I want to share something I started & FINISHED!🥹🥳

I recently started Pilates & not just any Pilates… HOT MAT PILATES! 🔥 And I never thought this would be “my thing” but @bodyalivemidtownatlanta has stretched me, literally! Challenged my limits, and pulled strength out of me that I didn’t even know I had!

I decided to join their Back to School Challenge, which was my 1st fitness challenge ever, and yall… I was dedicated. Overly dedicated, actually 😂

BUT YALL… I ACTUALLY WON!!! 🥇🏆

I won the 1st place prize, which came with a Vuori bag (iykyk 👀) ANDDD 6 MONTHS OF FREE UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIP!!! Likeeee… I’m definitely one of the favorites because come onnnn!!! A bag AND 6 months at my favorite studio?! 💛

The same night I won the challenge, I also completed my 50TH Pilates class! 50 classes in, and I can honestly say I never imagined I’d make it this far when I started.

But honestly, beyond the prizes, I’m just really proud of myself for committing to something and seeing it through! Especially while balancing my career, motherhood, and being a wife. It feels good to make a little time for myself and do something that’s just for me

Who would’ve thought Pilates would become my thing?! Just wanted to share a little piece of my fitness journey because I’m really proud of this one!

I guess you can officially call me a #pilatesprincess now 👑💖

experiencing my very first Nigerian wedding as an Aso Ebi girl was such an honor💞

Being able to witness Black love all around me was truly something special. Seeing family come together to celebrate the union of two beautiful people, the music, the energy, the laughter, the love… you could feel it everywhere. And everyone looking absolutely STUNNING in their traditional pieces?! Whew🔥

Do yall see the bride and groom? Speechless🤍 Watching two people be celebrated and surrounded by so much love was such a beautiful thing to witness.

And the food?! WOW WOW! I tried amala for the first time and baby… a new palate was unlocked! A taste I’ve genuinely never experienced before🥺

To the Efiks, love youuu. Cheers to your beautiful union and a lifetime filled with love, happiness, and endless blessings! 🥂🫶🏾

Happy 11th Birthday + Elementary Graduation to my favorite guy... a real 11/10 kid 🖤🎉🎓

11 whole years... wow🥹 we back-to-back with it!

Overjoyed watching the smart, kind, loving young man you’re becoming. My heart melted when you asked for your little sister to be in your graduation pictures.. it says so much about the size of your heart🫶🏾

She’s the cherry on top 🍒 Happy 5th Birthday Jael! A little piece of me, but somehow all the better parts. Watching her grow is the sweetest blessing. Wrapped my Birthday Celebration with our 1st family cruise to Cabo! 🛳️🌺

1. Had to get a pic in front of the #Cabo sign, of course!
2. Cabo is absolutely gorgeous… and yes, we saw sea lions 🥰
3. Jael built her first sandcastle! Just look at her reaction 🫶🏾
4. Just look at our babies. So, so blessed 💫
5. Finally docked in Cabo… and Khyree being Khyree swore there was a fly in his face (there wasn’t 🙃)
6. Potato & Avocado danced DAILY at the “washy washy” station.. kids had to get a pic 😂
7. Back-of-the-ship vibes ☀️ (the sun was not on my side this day lol)
8. The kids LOVE the airporttt. Instant joy the second we walk in. & honestly… same? 😅
9. Y’all know I love a theme! We planned outfits every night, but Jael fell asleep before pics every time 😭 this is 1 of 2 we got. Also… note to self: try outfits on beforehand because my “all white” was not all white 💔
10. Khyree & I rarely get pics.. so this matching moment with my boyyy meant everything 💙
11. Jael’s only goal: beach + bury herself in sand 🏖️
12. The cruise shows? Full on productions. So good!
13. My water babiessss & Khyree will always do something awkward when he sees the camera 😂
14. The North Star took us 300 ft above the ship & the views of Cabo were INSANE! (& no, my husband was not getting on 😭)
15. Cabo really is that destination. TikTok coming soon 👀
16. Jael insisted on a water cheers every night… so we cheers’d every night!
17. Epic fail for All black night🖤K forgot his shirt & Jael was sleepy 😴
18. We did iFly on the ship!! Such an amazing experience & now we’re lowkey thinking about real skydiving 👀
19. Jael went TWICE & she loved it! A natural for sure
20. Late dinner after bumper cars was the best decision. The chicken dance was a whole vibe 😂
