Wirakocha’s Cry : PROTECT IMMIGRANTS

Wirakocha, also known as Apu Kon Titi Wira Kocha, is known as the creator of the three worlds to the Tiwanaku, Wari, Chavín, Nazca, and Moche peoples of the Andes and Perú, as well as the Inca.

Depicted distraughtly with flowing tears, Wirakocha is constantly sensitive to the world while trying to be a catalyst for balance. Unbalanced worlds release intense feeling that drives emotion, intention, and action. Wirakocha has always and will always cry for the protection of immigrants. He asks you to do what you can to help. Call your senators, help your community know their rights, check on your neighbors, report 🧊 sightings to help keep us safe, volunteer however you can, donate to support immigrant rights, and BE LOUD.

🇵🇪ancestral harvest under the first night of chuseok moon🇰🇷

thinking about how our ancestors honored, celebrated, conversed with, and relied on this full moon 🌕 during Qoya Killa Raymi and Chuseok, which are the Andean and Korean celebrations during the season’s equinox.

this is our biggest Huacatay🇵🇪 harvest of the year!!! it feels extra special knowing that all will be offered during a Día de Muertos celebration, another time where we honor ancestors and celebrate with loved ones ❤️

THANK YOU to everyone who supported us yesterday and made KoreaFest such a meaningful experience! What a pleasure to celebrate culture with all the kind vendors and curious attendees who listened eagerly to the creation stories behind our prints 🌄🌕
So many unexpected joys like how our first costumer at KoreaFest was Peruvian🇵🇪, and finding Korean handcrafted farm tools for JosangPacha farm!!!!!
And thank you to 이모 vending next to us who dressed us up in wedding hanbok for a photoshoot 🤣

Excited to share that JosangPacha will be growing Korean and Peruvian ancestral foods on a larger scale. After a fall and winter of markets, rest, and learning, we have plans of sharing bundles of healing herbs, art, sauces, oils, and ferments through a CSA. We’ve been thinking about how to support our friends in the city who have less access to abundance of Earth.
