PHOTOGRAPHER SPOTLIGHT Born and raised in Austin, @jose.mcintosh is a photographer and cinematographer with a passion for creating filmic, editorial art. Inspired by ‘70s and ‘80s aesthetics as well as ‘50s and ‘60s retro-futurism, his work blends nostalgia with a fresh perspective. His favorite image from the featured project, Chess, is the profile shot with lace lighting. This image showcases both the creativity and intention behind the shot. Jose has been behind the camera since he was a kid, and has grown that early passion into a love for photography and Austin’s creative community.
