I’m Joselito (but you can call me Joselitty) and welcome to my page! 🥂

I was born in Queens, NY, then moved to NJ when I was five. I used to be shy compared to how extroverted I am now. But if one thing has remained constant:

— It’s that as far back as I can remember, I’ve always been in love with cinema. —

I embodied every character I watched onscreen; wishing to be as cool and exciting as they were; learning the language of #film since I was three. I grew up watching #HarryPotter, #StarWars, #IndianaJones, etc, using early #YouTube as a resource.

Hence why acting + making my films provides the right amount of serotonin this boi needs.

I also play a wee bit of piano, love to dance, sing karaoke, act, and like to talk about my existential crisis.

Movies keep me grounded and help me foster an appreciation for life and active learning. The day I stop learning, is the day I’m officially a dumbass.

Follow your aspirations and remember that slow motion is better than no motion at all.

You are lovable and capable.

a side by side comparison of the scott pilgrim promo for @cineyapcollective and the og scene from scott pilgrim.

did we have to go this far for this promo? no.

did i have to storyboard the whole film intro, find the exact fonts and sound effects, and pull the onomatopoeia directly from the film/graphic novel?

nobody asked me to do any of that, but it’s my one of my favourite movies ever, so why wouldn’t i? it was genuinely the most fun i’ve ever had on a creative project :)
