It’s almost like clockwork.. as soon as the kids go back to school, someone gets sick. And with four kids, it rarely stops with just one. 🤧

The last thing I want to do with sick kids at home is search multiple stores for thermometers, fever medication and all the little things that help make them comfortable. So, before sick season starts, I put together a fully stocked sick-day survival bin.

🍎📚✂️what i’ve learned after 4 kids: if it’s not labeled, it’s not coming home. 😅. These @colleamoi labels are the reason we will still have our water bottles, lunch containers, AND actual matching mittens by the end of the year 😂

They are dishwasher safe, laundry safe, cold safe. You put them on once and you’re done.

I always forget just how crazy back to school is! # ad

Between school runs, gas, groceries, and somehow juggling everyone’s schedules (we’ve got 4 kids and just 2 of us trying to keep it all straight), today was one of those “wait… what’s for supper?” kind of days. As chaotic as it gets, you’ve got to celebrate the little wins like earning @sceneplusrewards on every errand today from our fill up at Shell, essential lunch supplies run at Sobey’s and takeout from Montana’s. #ShellCAPartner by @joselyne.effa

Coming from someone who doesn’t even really like tomatoes… this might be one of the BEST tomato soups I’ve ever made. 😂🍅

The secret is the Boursin. You basically throw everything into a pot, roast it, blend it with some broth and finish it with heavy cream. SO simple and so good.

The only thing I’d do differently next time is add a tiny bit of sugar to cut the acidity of the tomatoes.

And pleaseeee serve it with a really good loaf of bread. I had mine with a rosemary olive oil sourdough and honestly, that might have been my favourite part. 😂

If you told younger me that a mop would be the highlight of my week, I wouldn’t have believed you…. but here we are! SHEET PAN Hawaiian Chicken 🌶️🍍🫑
ingredients:
• 1.5 lb chicken breast
• 1 red bell pepper
• 1 orange bell pepper
• 1 red onion
• 15 oz can pineapple chunks (drained)
• ½ cup teriyaki sauce (i use primal kitchen)
• ½ tsp salt
• ¼ tsp black pepper
• white rice, for serving
instructions:
1 preheat your oven to 350°F and line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
2 cut the chicken, peppers, and onion into about 1-inch pieces. drain the pineapple.
3 add everything to the sheet pan. pour over the teriyaki sauce, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss until everything is well coated.
4 bake for 25–30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through. for a little extra flavor, switch to broil for a few minutes at the end to get a nice char.
5 serve over white rice and enjoy!
