New York Bartender Week Cocktail Spotlight: @coastalbayshore’s Apple “Whiskey” Sour featuring @matchbookdistilling

A riff on a Whiskey Sour

“I’ve always had a love for calvados and was really excited to come across Matchbook’s peated apple brandy this fall. We got our hands on some local fig leaves and found they make an unbelievable ingredient for cocktails, reminiscent of vanilla and lightly toasted almonds. Add some honeycrisp apple cider from Red Jacket farms, Catskill honey, some citric and malic acid, and you’ve got a super juicy and crushable fall cocktail.” says @joseph_mele

Visit this wonderful bar and try this tasty cocktail during the second annual New York Bartender Week (Nov. 17-23)!

What’s new this year? We are launching the first ever “Bar Star Awards” The nominees will be judged by a panel of top U.S. and global media members, with the winners announced at our Kick-Off Gala on Nov. 16.
