🚨 PSA TO MY GAY CLIENTS & QUEER CONTENT CREATORS! 🏳️‍🌈 I’ve noticed something concerning across social media over the last 24 hours. Content that is blatantly queer, unapologetically gay, and proudly LGBTQ+ has been underperforming. Less engagement. Fewer comments. Fewer follows. Poorer metrics across the board. And while I can’t say exactly what’s happening behind the scenes with these algorithms, the pattern is concerning, especially when it comes to how queer content is being treated. It’s nothing you did. Your content isn’t suddenly bad. Your voice hasn’t lost its value. As your Marketing Maven, I’m watching the numbers, studying the trends, and adjusting our strategies accordingly. We’ve faced this before, and we’ll face it again. We’re not going to make ourselves less gay to make an algorithm more comfortable. Keep showing up. Keep creating. Keep being unapologetically YOU. We will prevail. We always do. #GayContentCreators #LGBTQMarketing #QueerVisibility #SocialMediaMarketing by @josephafederico
🎃 ALL TREATS, NO TRICKS HERE! ✨ It’s Tuesday afternoon with The Maven, and I just got back from spending an hour with the fabulous Mel Monty of Market Street Tattoo right here in Morristown, New Jersey! And THIS is what real social media coaching looks like! 🧙‍♂️ No tricks. No smoke and mirrors. Just REAL people, REAL testimonials, and REAL confidence being built! I’m not just a social media marketer who tells you what to post and sends you on your merry way. ✨ I’m your coach. I help you find the confidence to show up for yourself and your business. 🎬 I’m your creative director. I’m behind the scenes helping you develop videos, tell your story, and bring your personality to life on camera. 🗺️ I’m your strategist. I build marketing roadmaps that make sense for YOU, your business, and your goals. And yes, sometimes I’m going to PUSH you! Not because I’m trying to make you uncomfortable, but because I know there’s something extraordinary waiting on the other side of that fear. The best part? I stick with my clients from start to finish. I’m invested in their growth, their confidence, and their success. That’s what separates coaching from simply hiring someone to manage your social media. And watching someone discover that they CAN do this? That’s the real magic. 🪄 🎃 Ready to stop hiding behind your business and start becoming the face of it? DM THE MAVEN to book your FREE 30-minute consultation! by @josephafederico

🦃 BUTTERBALL’S NEW TINY TURKEY HAS ONE JOB! Hmmmm… nostalgia is EVERYWHERE, and the in-person economy, as I like to call it, is creeping back into our lives! And The Marketing Maven is HERE for it! 👀 Remember Tamagotchis? Those little digital pets we carried around in the ’90s? Well, Butterball is bringing that nostalgic energy to Thanksgiving 2026 with its new Butterball Buddy! This turkey-shaped digital gadget assigns Thanksgiving chores to guests, from preparing the feast to serving dinner and cleaning up afterward. And here’s where things get interesting from a marketing perspective… According to Butterball, 85% of Thanksgiving hosts WANT help preparing for the holiday, but only 38% actually ask for it! That’s some clever marketing, folks! 👏 We’re seeing brands embrace nostalgia, physical experiences, and good old-fashioned human interaction in an increasingly digital world. The in-person economy is making a comeback, and brands that understand how to blend nostalgia with modern technology are getting our attention. Sometimes the smartest marketing strategy isn’t about reinventing the wheel. It’s about making something familiar feel exciting again. 🦃 WOULD YOU GET ONE OF THESE GADGETS? And Butterball, if you want to send The Marketing Maven one to test out this Thanksgiving, go right ahead! I’m willing to put this little turkey to work! 😏 What do YOU think? Brilliant holiday marketing or another gadget destined for the junk drawer? 👇 Sound off below! by @josephafederico
