Not every event needs it.

But when the trumpet 🎺 starts…the room feels different.

We are spotlighting one of our featured artists for select dates this season.

Limited availability.

If you’ve been thinking about adding more live instruments to your big day, now’s the time.

✨ DM us “TRUMPET” to get the hybrid experience everyone is talking about 😎🎺

About the artist:

Mike “Maz” Maher is a 5x Grammy Award Winning trumpet and flugelhorn player for the contemporary instrumental group Snarky Puppy. He’s also an accomplished singer and songwriter with 3 original recordings of his own, including his latest release, “Just In the Nick of Time”.

We are thrilled to have Maz on the team when he’s not touring the world! 🌎 by @josephanderika

Still not over this day with Laura & Tyler! 💍🌸 This charming summer wedding at the Country Club of New Bedford was straight out of a storybook! From the whimsical wildflowers to the sweetest details, every moment was thoughtful and timeless. 💕

And when the groom couldn’t stop looking at his bride like she walked on water… it just made you feel like you were in a scene straight out of a rom-com 🥹💫

Forever obsessed with these two and their dreamy day!

People always ask me how long I should stay at a wedding reception. I always say “it depends!” Some parties start right away once the dance floor opens. Some take a little time to heat up. This wedding coverage , I stayed my typical 20-30 min to get a sense of the energy. It’s really up to you! If your friends rip up the dance floor nonstop, having me stay til the end is always an option.

Meet Collin, one of our featured artists and brother of co-founder @erikavanpelt

We are beyond excited to have him on the J&E team for 2026 events and beyond.

Not only is Collin a seasoned live performer, he’s also been a DJ for over a decade and brings a whole mix of skills to the table. Plus, he’s a supah cool dude 😎

Shoutout to @kimacc for the vids!

Hey everyone, Erika here! Big things coming for 2026 ✨

We’re bringing one of our favorite humans (and absolute pros) into the spotlight — my brother @collinvanpelt ! Collin will be one of our featured artists for live music and DJ!

If you know him, you know he’s honestly the hardest working dude in show biz and one of the kindest people on the planet and I’m SO excited to be able to perform at many more events together!

CVP is a member of our Rhode Island band family, but you’ll see him playing all over New England this year!

If you’ve been to one of our events, you know the standard we hold ourselves to… Collin lives right there with us. Same energy, same attention to detail, same “read the room and make it unforgettable” mindset.

Honestly… this just means we get to do more of what we love, with people we trust completely.

Can’t wait for you all to experience CVP in his element 🎶

Check out these raw clips for a small sample of what he does…

✨ Inquire about his availability for 2026-2027 events!
DM us for more info ℹ️

We loved celebrating with Bethany & Jake at the gorgeous @providencepubliclibrary this past December - and we brought a whole crew of amazing musician friends with us for this epic celebration!

4 singers, 2 guitarists, 2 DJ’s and some trumpet 🎺 🔥

ALL the fun was had with this group.
