This past birthday weekend was one of the most epic times I’ve ever had. You only turn 35 once. From my birthday and workouts on Friday, to the engagement party on Sat, and Father’s day outings with my Father’s and his family whom I reconnected more closely with. 🙏🏻 God is great.

Thank you all very much again for the ones who could make it and reached out who couldn’t. Especially Sandy @msfighter53 , because all of this wouldn’t have been possible without her letting us use the venue and setting it up. Love and appreciate you all. Honestly, had to honor God and my included a prayer in the speech because it really took faith and knowing the pattern of hard work and reward when getting everything done, despite the small challenges. (Don’t scroll to the end, unless you love to dance).

From the beginning I was very intrigued by the possibility of being together. I very cautiously warned her that if we kept reacting to each other’s posts on social media, then we would start liking each other… and that’s exactly what happened… We faced lots of different challenges we didn’t always expect and kept being faced with the decision of being between fear and love. Choosing to look at Love in the face regardless of our fears, we decided to fall together and take on the work and adventure needed to conquer love and realized.. Our purpose in life is to love and that can sometimes come with discomfort and growth, but that same comfort of not reaching the unknown… can just be fear in disguise. 🙏🏻

Well… I can confidently say, I am in awe and blown away by how strong we’ve become and how stunning Daisy looked today🎂🍰. We had an awesome and important date night. Sometimes we get so busy, we need a reminder for how far we’ve come and what we now have to appreciate, in order to actually keep all we have. I never thought having the person, the own IT business, the house, and the car of my dreams was realistically achievable at the same time. I use to believe you’d have sacrifice one for the rest or the others, business/career, love/family, health and fitness. Turns out, it’s not always simple, but that was a lie from those who failed and believed the same. I can now say that right now, I’m living in the good ol’ days with the woman of my dreams, house, family, health, and my car. All while learning to balancing it all and never taking it for granted even for a second. Love you and Happy Birthday Qualified Queen.(A little belated post😉)🙏🏻 by @josethetech

Last year, I asked myself: Is a high end gym membership really worth?

It depends. I asked myself this question and I ultimately for me, it wasn’t. I may not ever get a membership again. I now believe you can get everything done at home the same way, with same results, apart from group motivation and maybe a good sauna sesh. Ultimately, I found myself wanting to rather spending around 1000 dollars so I could have it all at home. It comes out cheaper and builds your credit/points anyways if you just use a credit card. It’s actually funner, cheaper, and more reliable, especially on credit. This became all I ever needed and more. Plus, I loved the more freedom and privacy in the garage. It was a really fun, intense, project Daisy helped me with. It took likely 7+ hours and we use it, love it, and might never get a high end membership again. 🏋🏻‍♂️🏋🏻‍♀️ by @josethetech

Okay but… I’m fully swooned 😍
Because HE built this for me. Tech is his love language.

The clear panel. The bright custom lights. Every little detail. A work of art. I keep staring at it and I seriously cannot wait to start using it 💻✨

Jose’s been in tech for almost 18 years now, from Capitol Hill to nonprofits to his shop and consulting, and you can just feel how much he loves what he does. Systems, builds, troubleshooting, gaming PCs, business tech, all of it. When he’s explaining something, the passion just pours out 🧠🔥

What I love most is how effortlessly he shifted his business because work doesn’t feel like work to him. He’s just out here playing, creating - building amazing things and taking care of people through his craft.
