A weekend of music, friends and pure energy.

Amsterdam delivered.
Grateful for the people around me.

Now back to the routine.

The weekend was loud.
The work stays quiet.

Routine restored.

Another zero added.

And suddenly, I find myself looking back.

At that younger version of me.
The one who had no idea how far life would take him ,in every sense of the word.

He didn’t know how many times the meaning of home would change.
How some people would become family, while others would slowly become memories.
How distance would stretch between people who once felt close.
How some goodbyes would come far too soon.

He didn’t know that sometimes life doesn’t just turn the page.
It closes the whole book and asks you to start writing again.

And I did.

Again and again.

Somewhere between then and now, I lost people I thought would always be there.
I found others I never expected to meet.
I discovered new places, new beginnings, and new versions of myself.

There was loss.
But there was also love.

There were difficult days.
But there were nights I wished would never end.

There was music.
Friendship.
Laughter.
Beautiful places.
And strangers who somehow made unfamiliar corners of the world feel like home.

So when I look at these two photos, I don’t see the years between them.

I see a life.

Everything I lost.
Everything I found.
Every place I called home.
Every person who left a mark.
Every version of me that had to end so another could begin.

If I could sit beside that younger me for just a moment, I wouldn’t tell him what’s coming.

I’d just look at him and say:

Keep going.

One day, you’ll look back at all of it…

and realize you made it.

Funny how the places that tire the body can quiet the mind.

Some days, training is the plan.
Other days, it’s just where I want to be.

Today was the second one.

The weekend didn’t go quite as planned.

Some things are out of our hands.
Plans change. Events get cancelled. Life moves on.

So you adjust, find your rhythm again, and make something good out of the day.

Today, that meant the gym.

Somewhere between the sets, the noise gets quiet.

No rush. No performance.
Just an hour where everything else can wait.

My first Defqon didn’t go the way I expected.

But even in one day, I experienced something special.

The music. The atmosphere. The people you share it with.

Some experiences don’t need to last long to leave a lasting memory.

Hopefully, this was just the first chapter. 🧡
