In just under a week, we’re coming together for a veeery special milestone: THE LAUNCH!

This is a moment to pause and reflect on how far we’ve come, a time to celebrate, but most of all to express our deep gratitude to everyone who has been part of this intense yet beautiful journey 🥹

We’ve got some incredible people joining the DJ and speaker line-up, promising an evening that marks the birth of an impactful space for music discovery; one that gives proper credit to the contributors of the music industry.

@josh.bobzin has been carving out dancefloors for 15 years while being present both
behind the booth and on the dancefloor.
The berlin-based DJ draws his selections from a wide range of house, electro and
breaks and fun things while always putting in warm layers and adding cheeky stuff.
With regular appearances in his hometown Hamburg at Golden Pudel(@pudel_com), Habitat
Festival, PAL, Mjut or Uebel&Gefährlich Josh Bobzin is equipped to play both
extended openings or neverending closings.
During his studies in the small town of Lüneburg he got very active as a DJ and
promoter and created rave and open air experiences with Flugmodus. Within this
Dancefloor Requirement Planning (DRP) together with Wondra and smuseb
emerged. Together they hosted and produced the radio show HALLO: Radio
between 2020-2022, to name just one of their artistic projects.
Additionally he co-founded Fluid Festival in 2020 which had its first and last episode
in June 2022. Apart from his professional duties as a festival organizer he also
represented the festival as a Resident.
Alongside his DJ persona Josh Bobzin, he is currently working on establishing
Monument Festival(@mnmt.no) from Norway in Berlin with his more ambient focused DJ project
Recorded Future while expanding the ambient series Transmute.

Hello and a warm welcome! Our first record is just around the corner, and of course, this calls for an extensive and proper celebration!

That’s why we invite you to our very first Release Party and Phantasia Showcase at Hamburg’s most solid rave spot—the one and only @suedpol_hamburg

The wild journey kicks off on January 31st at 11:59 pm and continues into the early morning hours of Saturday. Curated across two floors including live sets. It will be an aural feast for all rave nostalgists and sound fetishists.

With great joy and excitement, we’d like to introduce our rave-floor guests, who are also part of the release:

@ddolomeaa doesn’t just craft her own sounds but also works as a mastering engineer. Her live sets deliver off-kilter grooves interwoven with fragmented, vocal-based samples, driven by elements of acid and trance—occasionally venturing into realms of minimal techno and electro.

Steadily progressing, her sets build tension and take you on journeys through her psychedelic soundscapes.

Threading his way through the intersection of proto-techno playfulness, sci-fi movie soundtracks, acid-drenched exotica, and metamorphic electroid blends, @rupertmarnie has been steadily crafting a truly unique sound identity over the years.

The insights he gains from co-running Hamburg’s record store, Remoto Records, fuel him with inspiration and knowledge, which he seamlessly reinjects into his own genre-bending releases.

During the reflective hours, our guests Udda and Recorded Future will treat you to their deep, pulsating soundscapes.

Olha Udovenko, aka @udda___, is a Ukrainian DJ and a former member of the Kultura Zvuku collective in Kharkiv. By working as a booker for the club and developing an electronic music school, Udda brought the music scene of the second-largest city in Ukraine to the forefront of international attention. Olha is known for her selections of experimental and immersive sounds.

In 2021, @josh.bobzin launched Recorded Future, a project dedicated to his love for ambient and deep sounds. His music blends deep techno, tribal rhythms, dub, and trance-like elements into atmospheric, hypnotic soundscapes.

On the January 31st we‘re playing all night long at the @phantasia.rec party at @suedpol_hamburg . Embedded in Südpol Expedition, Phantasia will celebrate their first release downstairs, and we’ll take over the second floor with an extensive 7-hour B2B of Ambient, Abstract and experimental sounds.

Music, and especially ambient, was what brought us together back in 2022. We met at a Transmute event in Hamburg and have been close friends ever since. Traveling to Hamburg together for our first public B2B is truly a special occasion.

My dear friend Felipe interviewed me and the result is online in a feature on centro - voices of our scene. centro aims to elevate people’s respect for everything which permeates the healing art of raving.

In this interview I talk about slowing down through music and to which corners of electronic music my interest has shifted to recently, about assumed implicitness of being part of a certain music scene and my first experiences with sober events.

“With the omnipresence of digital media, we constantly accelerate, feeling both burned out and bored—not just by the tasks themselves, but by the mere fact that we’re always rushing. I believe music is a powerful medium to slow down.”

”For someone with ADHD like me, these environments are full of impressions that can easily cause overstimulation, so I really appreciate festivals or clubs that provide designated spaces for relaxation, where you can sit, maybe have a cup of tea, and enjoy a quieter atmosphere without too many people passing through.”
