Sometimes change can be scary, but often times it is exactly what you need.

When the Montevallo cycling team folded a few weeks before school started, I wasn’t worried because God made it clear exactly where I needed to be.

Grateful for my new Milligan family, and stoked for next year!

If there is one thing I have learned it is to trust God when he says “For I know the plans I have for you” because wow - His plans are amazing!

Welcome @josh_walker_pwp for ‘26 🐴

We’ve raced with Josh quite a bit in the Southeast and ultimately came to have him guest for us at Gateway Cup. What we got in return was relentless effort to support the team and the ability to mentally shift to “being the guy” when the dynamics of the race change resulting in a 🥈 from a break on a course where it’s widely considered that “breaks can’t stick.” For many, this makes mental commitment to the move difficult, but he stuck it out and that said a lot to us.

We are stoked to have him. Simply said, he gives 100%. Results aside, his positive attitude and accountability really set him apart as he looks to grow as a rider in 2026 alongside what looks to be a very solid Category 2/3 roster.

Milligan University Cycling Team is excited to announce that Joshua Walker has signed for the 2025-2026 season! Walker comes from Trussville, AL.

Joshua has been cycling since he was 14 and started racing in 2021 when he joined NICA. He loves cycling because it taken him to new places he would have never been to. It has also allowed him to meet new people.

Some of Joshua’s Major Results:

⁃ 1st NorthBeast 2025
⁃ 1st TONGA 2025
⁃ 1st 12h Iron Maiden Solo
⁃ Youngest rider to go Sub 8H at Skyway Epic

Joshua plans on racing Track, Mountain, Gravel, and Road while double majoring in Business Administration and Exercise Science at Milligan.
