POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
July’s Bring It Home release is officially live. ❤️

This month includes three songs that mean a lot to me.

*Heavy Fruit - an original written with Genevieve Hayton.
*Angel Dream - one of my all-time favorite Tom Petty songs.
*Candy - a Hidden Jam with Andy Coe while traveling 2,000’ up a Mtn aboard the Alyeska gondola in Girdwood, Alaska.

I think Angel Dream might be my favorite performance I’ve released so far. It carries a lot of weight and sweetness, and I’m excited to finally share it with you.

You can listen/watch all three videos, and read the stories behind each song on my website.

Thank you for supporting independent music and for being part of this journey.

Four months in.

Today marks the 4th installment of Bring It Home, and I’m fired up about it.

That means 12 songs are now out in the world, new originals, hidden jams from the vault, and a few favorite covers - all available exclusively at my website.

This month’s release includes:

Elijah: a song I started writing while holding my firstborn son in the hospital on the day he was born.

A live and EPOCH Hidden Jam from a wild Halloween run with Flowmotion.

Friend of the Devil: A song that’s been traveling with me ever since a New Year’s Eve adventure in Alaska many many moons ago.

If you’ve been following along, thank you. Your support is helping me create music closer to home and closer to the people I love.

Father’s Day.

Getting ready for a lil Father’s Day show in my hometown, Arlington. Dusting off this ol’ chestnut, Wild Eyes and thinking about my Dad. Grateful to be home with my sweet boys!

If you knew my Dad, I’d love to hear a memory. ❤️ taken in Arlington, Washington by @joshclauson

Arlington, I’m coming home for Father’s Day and playing a lil show at Legion Park - it’s the world famous SmokeOut BBQ contest Sunday June 21st… and apparently I’ve lost control of the promo department.
Come eat, laugh a little, and catch me live.

This song has been quietly sitting on a hard drive for years.

I originally recorded “Going In” during my Flowmotion touring days in California and somehow never released it.

Listening back now, the message feels more relevant than ever. So I re-recorded it.

With the world so loud and crazy , sometimes the best thing to do is slow down, and go inward.

Really happy to finally share this one.

“Going In” is part of this month’s Bring It Home release.

Found this unreleased Flowmotion gem in the vault.

"So Easy" was captured live at Chateau Ste. Michelle during the pandemic with Andy Coe, Joe Doria, Mark Mattrey, Bob Rees, Scott Goodwin, and yours truly. co-written with Genevieve Hayton

Feels good to finally let this one out into the world.

Part of this month's Bring It Home release.

a little over two years ago, I met an incredibly beautiful woman named Rose Lathrop. Rose and I hit it off immediately, and we knew we were cut from the same cloth. It blew my mind to find out that we had never met each other before. What we discovered is that we had been bumping elbows and running in the same circle of friends for decades without ever knowing each other. Our kids (both the same age) grew up going to Summer Meltdown Festival and we had attended so many of the same shows and events. Now, here we are, two years later, spending every possible minute together.

One moment in particular is when she told me this song was one of her favorite Phish songs. I learned it one day and sent it over the phone while we were apart and missing each other. Later that year, I got her tickets to see Vulfpeck at Red Rocks Park. Phish happened to also be playing in Boulder that same weekend, so we went to see them the night before. Unfortunately, Phish didn't play our favorite little love song, but the following night, after blowing our minds for almost 2 hours, Vulfpeck came out for their encore and oddly sat down on the stage - They, to our total surprise, played the sweetest lil version of this song. While lightning flashed across the sky miles away, and Fireworks went off afar over Denver, our worlds collided deeper into love for eachorther. Rose and I absolutely melted together that night. It seemed the band, the world, the universe was playing this directly for us, confirming that we were exactly where we were supposed to be! And I believe that whole heartedly.

To Rose Lathrop - on your birthday - I am eternally grateful for you. For our loving connection and beautiful relationship. I hope you have the best year ahead - Cuz we all know you deserve it. Thank you for the best times already. Happy birthday, baby. Cheers to many many more ahead❤️🎉 by @joshclauson
