After 20 years, it’s time. This Conrad Johnson EF-1 along with the Van Den Hul Two cart have fed my ears and my soul for many many years. But as the song says, change is gonna come.

Over the years, I’ve tried a few in its place, but nothing has been able to measure up to the golden presence of the CJ sonically and aesthetically.

It’s been a flawless performer. It’s got a couple of nicks from before my time, but you’d never know it to hear it.

If all goes well it’ll be available— I’ll tell you, if you’ve been looking for a phono stage. You really should consider this one.

We’ll see! Its replacement is being built as we speak. 🤞

In the meantime I’ve got a nice cue waiting for the next session! taken in Monona, Wisconsin by @joshgeidel

Biggest piece of metal I’ve ever hit!!!!
Craziest part, with these blades, I was able to get through this huge chunk of metal— finish out the cut, perfectly smooth and finish out the log after that! taken in The Mill Madison by @joshgeidel
