Surf Coast Century 100
This was a fun weekend of trails, camping, friends and family thanks to @rapidascent for putting on another great event filled with amazing volunteers and supporters.
My first 100k win but wasn’t exactly the day I had planned the first 50k felt great and easier than expected but the cramps got me again and the last few hours were painful, luckily I had the best support crew who kept me going I couldn’t have done it without you all and mum and dad for helping with the kids.
Also @enduranceedgecoaching for getting me in great shape I know there is more to show when I can figure out this salt and hydration issue, I wasn’t their only athlete to have a great day out there too
This is a great event in a beautiful place so if you haven’t already come down and give it a go.

100km in 2 minutes...

What a weekend at the Surf Coast Century. Thanks to all the legends who made it such a spectacle – from runners, to vollys, to supporters, sponsors, vendors and mother nature who turned on the weather!

It was a festival of athleticism meets humanity and we can safely say BOTH are alive and well in 2026.

This little edit is a precursor to the proper highlights vid that will be out later in the week.

Enjoy,

The Rapid Ascent Team by @joshgoding_runs

We had a Bali party!!
One of a few reasons why I pulled out of UTA100 was to enjoy this trip and that we did.
Thanks to @__tina_ for turning 40 and organizing it all we had the best time with you and the rest of the crew. #bali by @joshgoding_runs

Another great @buffalostampede_au weekend
Ran the 20k Skyrun this year and had a blast, the course was steep, technical and had amazing views.
Grateful to have lined up in such a stacked field and to have met these guys let alone raced them.
3rd place behind some of the best young talent going around and getting to share another finish line with my biggest fan.
Thanks to my crew for coming to support and sharing the fun weekend.
Shout out to @singletrack_events and all the volunteers for putting on a great weekend, this was my first time volunteering and getting to see the other end of the race up at Clearspot on Saturday night, can’t wait to do it again.

TOP MALE CONTENDERS 🏆 Buffalo Stampede 20km Sky Run presented @asicsaustralia

Last year the 20km SkyRun was one of the most exciting races we’ve ever seen, with nail biting finishes in both the men’s and women’s fields 🔥 the following athletes we believe are the ones to watch in the men’s field:

- Nathan Pearce @nathanpearce_ is in firing form, fresh off an incredible win at the Donna Double at Warby! He’s also come 1st in the Buffalo 20km in 2023, and had the trifecta of 1sts at the @rollercoastertrailrun 23km 👀

- Patrick Clark @patrick.clark_ is a young gun from the @singletrack_trailteam who caught everyone off guard in the 20km last year, being the first athlete to the climb ahead of some of Australia’s best trail runners 🔥 Pat won the gold medal at the youth sky running VK champs in 2025, and narrowly came second at the Donna Double just weeks ago.

- James Barnett @james_barnett42 was 10 seconds behind first place in the 2025 Buffalo Stampede 20km SkyRun 😳 In 2025 he dominated the 14km at @wandicross and has also had a strong win in the @rollercoastertrailrun 46km in 2023. He used to be a local to the area, and knows these trails well!

- Toby Sparkes @tobysparkes was second in a finish line dash at the @rollercoastertrailrun 23km, and has more recently won the 27km at Two Bays in a blistering time. We’re excited to see what Toby does on the steeper Buffalo 20km course, he’s definitely got leg speed to burn ⚡️

- Josh Goding @joshgoding_runs ran an incredible 5th place in the Buffalo 100km in 2025, and has also won the 46km at @rollercoastertrailrun in 2023. Josh is strong, consistent and always in the mix 💪

All the best to everyone taking on the epic 20km SkyRun course, get those quads ready 😈
Let’s gooo!
