NEW HEADSHOTS + EXCLUSIVE AGENCY 📸 @headshots_byreyna ⚡️ 🕵️‍♀️@moorecreativetalent 💸 I recently had a conversation with some fellow actors about posting headshots. It feels so vulnerable, yet so professional and required at the same time. Who posts headshots? Actors, artists, entrepreneurs, influencers, creators… People who are each unique, and who show the world what we create using our own DNA as evidence. That means You, yes, YOU READING THIS, are unique too. And if my photographer wife has taught me anything, it’s that sometimes we need a visual reminder of what we look like in order to remember who we are: beautiful and loved. While the timing isn’t great for actors with the SAG-AFTRA + WGA strike and all, I’m sharing these new headshots because they remind me that I’m moving into a new phase of my life. One where I sorta look smart. 🤓 Also because: —Reyna Rios took them to build her portfolio! Isn’t she great?! Go take a look at her work! @headshots_byreyna —I recently signed a Minnesota-exclusive talent agency agreement with @moorecreativetalent ! Yes, I’m a working and progressing actor, and I want you to know. Hire me… after the strike. ✊ —My mom probably wants to see them. 🙏 #ActorLife #TheatricalHeadshot#CommercialHeadshot #NewHeadshots #HeadshotPhotography #ActorPortfolio #ActorHeadshots #ProfessionalActor #ActorGrowth #ConfidenceBoost #ActorsProgress #ActingCareer #ActorsLife #ActingJourney #HeadshotSession by @joshiepalms
Ain’t she sweet? 🍭🥹 📸 My wife took these photos (except the first one… that’s her!) She is cool. She’s a treat. She makes me feel neat. 🥰 If you don’t know Ashley, you should! She is a fantastic photographer @zapatapalmspictures and business owner @twincitiesphotobus. Go follow her accounts! She’ll always make you feel seen, heard, and challenged. She is compassionate, thoughtful, focused—hands down the most honest person I know. And she is so pretty. I love herrrrrr. ❤️ #NewHeadshots #freelancers #headshots #actor #director #filminminnesota #commercialactor #theatricalheadshot #headshotphotographer by @joshiepalms
I still can't believe it. I'm a mix of relief & grief right now. After 51 shoot days with 175 cast & crew members at 21 locations & +4000 shared meals, @hiddenfallsfilm principal photography is wrapped. That means no more big production days, no more swords & cameras, no more scheduling & re-scheduling, no more scrambling to find replacements or equipment--the horizon holds the relative peace of post-production. It was exactly 1 year of production for episodes 2-8. We started on August 6th 2021 & we ended August 6th 2022. I find that coincidence cathartic—like we left the Shire & returned back to it, forever changed. We were a band of merry miscreants, & now we've endured right up to the mouth of Mount Doom; with moments of personal trial & triumph & stories of professional failure & success. I am grateful for every moment we shared, even the tough ones. I am faced with a conflict of identity at the end; for I have changed so much that I don't recognize myself or where I am going next. Before Hidden Falls, I was just a silly clown who liked to play with cameras. Now, it seems my edges have been sharpened through heat & fracture. People have asked me, "What are you going to do next?" the answer is... Press on. Yes, I will rest, but I must continue to work. Hopefully the next few months of a slower & more attentive pace, will return me to a gentle spirit, where passion does not overwhelm me. We'll see what the heavens have. To all the cast and crew: Thank you. I believe we have done something great that will make waves for years. We have created opportunities for growth, built relationships, learned new skills, shared meals, & from here we bounce to the next step in our journeys. It is necessary for us to create this project at this time; all thanks to your flexibility, cheerfulness, & passion. To my fellow leaders @ohabbyday94, @falicia.nichole, @orangelightning17, & @elvenblonde—each of you sacrifice so much of your lives for the people in this project & you are the reason we can endure to find good cheer & community. Now I take a break from social media so I may get to know myself again without the temptation of comparison. Thank you all, & be well. by @joshiepalms

The Focus: Text analysis, objective-driven choices, active staging. Stop rehearsing in a vacuum. Work through your cut with live, constructive direction on how to keep your storytelling grounded while hitting your marks. The Focus: Framing, micro-expressions, screen presence, and tape review. Camera work demands a completely different scale of energy. Practice active listening, subtle physical adjustments, and eye-line management under the lens. Bring in a sides package or work off our provided scripts, get taped live, and review immediate feedback so you know exactly how your choices are translating through the lens. The Focus: Headshot alignment, reel curation, agent pitch strategy, and booking logistics. Your talent gets you in the room; your marketing keeps you working. Spotted on a feature film set—what a nerd. 🤓 @rollhighdontdie http://www.rollhighdontdie.com/ I’m PUMPED to play Garth in my first feature film acting role with some other nerds! Nerds here, nerds there. Nerds friggin’ everywhere. by @joshiepalms
No shade, Odysseus. 🗡️🎵 In honor of the release of @theodysseymovie, I give you this song I wrote back in 2020 and never did anything with, but then rediscovered last week I call it… “Sailors of the Odyssey.” ⛵️ Still wondering what happened to those Greek names. ☠️ 🇬🇷 #Odyssey #theodyssey #theodysseymovie #originalsong #ukulele by @joshiepalms
20 hours of rehearsal for 20 seconds. 🤺 it’s probably my most fun part of this show—I always walk off stage BEAMING with joy to swing that spear. Being a King is cool too 🤴 JOAN OF ARC @openwindowtheatre 1 weekend left. Closes May 31. #theatre #joanofarc #actors #stagecombat by @joshiepalms
Here’s 5 of the 7 hats I wear in this show. 💂 (And some bonus shots!) 🎟️Only 8 performances left! Tickets are almost sold out. Playing “King Charles VII” in JOAN OF ARC at @openwindowtheatre has been a great honor. I find the faith, doubt, and anxiety of this character to be quite personal—throwing myself into it has been cathartic and timely. Just as he wrestled with the weight of his throne and the pull and push of his advisors, I feel the tugs of influence on my thoughts and beliefs when I scroll social media and see a battle of perceptions. May I, too, be more like Joan—in her simple childlike faith and confidence. 📸 @up.north.creative by @joshiepalms
Thank you @ithacashortfilmfest for recognizing our cast with the award for Best Performance. And of course, congrats to these incredible actors for their work on this film 🎥💛 #shortfilm #supportlocalart #minnesotafilmandtv #ambigrampictures by @joshiepalms
Big news! We have not only been accepted to the Ithaca Short Film Festival, but we won the Best Performance(s) award for our ensemble. We may be biased, but we think our cast is pretty great and love to see them recognized. by @joshiepalms
