Yesterday was the last time I competed as competitive gymnast. 10 years of blood, sweat, and tears and although it’s seems crazy to say I’d do it all over again and wouldn’t think twice. Gymnastics has taught me more than just flips and twists, it’s taught me how to love, persevere when things get tough, and to always strive for something great. If that kid in the picture was told what he will achieve in the next 10 years, he’d be pretty darn proud. I want to give a big thanks to all my teammates and coaches who have played such a significant role in shaping not only my gymnastics, but also the person l have become. I wouldn’t be who I am without you guys so for that I’m forever grateful. Lastly I’d like to thank my parents for putting me in gymnastics when I was 4 because I was climbing up the refrigerator doors too much. Thank you for coming to my meets to cheer me on, thank you for driving me to practice when I didn’t have a license and thank you for supporting me every step of the way. I owe you the world ❤️
