There’s a reason why John Denver called “West Virginia, Almost Heaven” - it’s an incredibly special place to so many, especially these two and their families.There is nothing we love more than a family and couple that plans with purpose and intentionality. Every single aspect of this wedding had so much love and thought in it - everything that they chose was because it had deep meaning to them (the bride’s sister was their officiant, their cousin sang and wrote their first dance song, the location was where they grew their relationship, and even us! - friends of the family - and so many other tiny details). And it showed in every image and in all of the countless tears. When @savaevents comes to us with an event, we know it is going to be something we love — and Caroline and Joshua’s wedding weekend certainly did not disappoint.They filled the weekend with thoughtful details for themselves and their guests, beginning with an intimate rehearsal dinner at Tiny Boxwoods. A neighborhood favorite filled with charm, it was the perfect setting for Sava’s vision of a soft blue-and-white evening: layers of garden roses, hellebores, sweet peas, and the prettiest variegated foliage set against powder-blue linen and warm, candlelit hospitality.Sava completed the table with blue-and-white china, giving the evening the feeling of an intimate fête at home rather than a grand production—a sensibility that carried beautifully throughout the entire weekend. Annalee & Jack’s wedding weekend started off at The Houstonian, where guests stayed and enjoyed a secluded resort in the middle of the city. The dinner was located just off a putting green so of course, it played into Friday night’s details. A room full of laughter and tears that even a stranger would find themselves chuckling to the witty and heartfelt words written just for the sweetest couple. PS.
