POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Just an absolutely impossible amount of events have happened in my life over the past 5 months. I started playing music again, bought a home that houses a family I love dearly, played soccer, and tons of other stuff I can’t think of right now.

Tons of good, tons of bad. Over all I’m doing well and life is good. The world’s pretty fucked up right now, but my little one is pretty damn good. by @joshtcates

Step right up step right up we got an amazing show for y’all this Thursday at JOB!!

That’s right we’ve got Josh Cates dustin off the ole git fiddle and stretchin out those vocal cords.

Carson Davis will be tickling those ivorys and making your skeleton vibrate.

Myself (Red Sonic) will be turning the volume up and playing as loud as one person possibly can.

Think you have what it takes? See you Thursday. by @joshtcates

I made a submission for @nprmusic’s Tiny Desk Competition!

It’s been a minute since I’ve released any music publicly but I’ve been quietly working a lot behind the scenes. Now I have a backlog of music I’ve been writing and recording recently and I’m ready to share it again.

Go check out the full video on YouTube at the link in my bio!

Hosting my second open mic! Thankful to @thecoffeeethic for the space. Also, the performers and everyone who came out for the first mic. 😌 yall really showed up and packed the place out.

I’d like to make this a reoccurring event to keep adding on to make it bigger and better as time goes on. Thanks friends.

It’s been a minute friends. I’ve been asked to run an open mic at my favorite coffee spot @thecoffeeethic

My first thoughts were that I wanted it to be more than just an open mic. I wanted to showcase people’s talents of all sorts not just music, poetry, and comedy. I want people to do improv, act out from their favorite scenes from movies shows or plays, do magic, show us how loud you can whistle or your best hog call. Idk get weird with it. I want it to be a fun night for folks to come see some cool art and meet new people and build community.

Anyway, I’ll talk more about my hopes and vision for it later. As I plan and work out some kinks. The first one is 9/27 so mark your calendars and follow @ethicallysourcedshow

Love y’all
