Fun little commercial I did with @tchalamet for @kalshi

Had to build a fake root canal rig.
Really fun build. Took a cast if Timothys teeth. Sculpted a new pre-molar, with a hole in it. Then attached actual endodontic files, cut to different sizes, into the root hole. Mounted the entire thing into a frame with thin dental dam.

Lots of research into the proper clamps and equipment. I love a job where we can learn some cool new things from another field.
Special thanks to @gentle.dentistry and Dr. Spector for help and guidance.

I'll post pics soon.

“I’m not worried about losing one King Kong. I’m worried about AI quietly killing 50 three-day jobs.” 🎯

That’s the real AI threat in film — not the big blockbuster gigs, but the bread-and-butter work that pays crews week to week.

A History Channel reenactment used to mean a makeup artist, 5 actors, and a full crew getting a day’s work.
Now it’s a host talking for 30 seconds + AI footage. Job gone. Every role on it — gone.

That’s where this industry is actually bleeding. 👀

🗳️ Quick poll — drop your vote below:
A) AI is a tool, crews will adapt
B) AI is quietly gutting indie film jobs

👀 Comment A or B — curious where this community lands.

A foot stabbing scene. Minimal experience. Zero hesitation.

@joshturimakeup showed up, figured it out, and the crew couldn’t believe what they were seeing. That’s the kind of energy we build with. Tap in with Josh for all your special makeup needs.

Look at these old guys!
I met Tom and Vinny 26 years ago when I got hired at NBC. Since then, we've been having a good time, slinging some prosthetics, speaking in movie quotes, and most importantly, brutally breaking each other's balls. (Its not for the weak hearted, lol)
It is an honor to call these guys my friends.
And we can still give them youngsters a run for their money.
