Hadn’t gotten around to posting any of my Senior Showcase material yet on here, so here is one of my pieces. “Joe Papp” from Elegies: A Song Cycle I think exemplifies everything that I love: a mission of accessible theatre (among other accessible accommodations), a hint of jazz, and, of course, the word “joe”. 😉

Thank you @katelumpkin and @ben_steiny (and many others) for your work behind the scenes 💙 by @joshuaahiggins

Eternal Petal 🌼

Please forgive the tears shed, screams scrumpt, and shaky hands while seeing the greatest artist of our generation with my literal favorite people 💙

It’s never gonna be an ordinary thing as long as I’m with you two 🥰

New Headshots by the AMAZING @amandamilesphotography

About a month ago I was looking to finally update my headshots and was debating between keeping the mustache (since i’ve had it more often than not over the last couple years) and shaving it for the shoot, but Amanda was incredibly flexible and allowed me to shave mid shoot so I could get both looks. Here are just some of the *many* incredible shots she took. :) by @joshuaahiggins

Hey, I’m still alive! 👋

And these two girls can sing! (@zaralarsson and @icryatwork of course, not @izaayaaah and me 🤪 although I know we’re easily confused 🎤💁🏼‍♂️)

Prior to being ill full time for a month, I spent most mornings singing through my entire range at about 8 am. This was my second spring writing original music using lyrics that we arranged from NYS middle schoolers’ poetry and lyrics. For Echoes 2025 at The REV Theatre Company, we read through around 2,400 submissions and performed an hours worth of those original songs as well as poetry and skits that we picked out from those middle school submissions. I got to tour the state with four pretty cool goobers (or as we liked to call ourselves, the sweet treat tour) and help bring to life the work of many students and encourage them to keep writing. Here’s some clips and photos from the songs I wrote or helped write as well as some funny moments throughout the show. Sorry the clips are not as clear as the ones I posted last year but I hope they give at least the essence of what we got to share. And if not… well, when in doubt, just griddy it out. (Or have a dancing rat, that usually does the trick too)
