MANO x MNRL is in @harrods! We couldn’t be more proud. @ritaora and I have joined @joshuamanonz and @tessajrich in founding this incredible fragrance house which is not only a dope smushing together of Aotearoa and UK hearts and souls, but also the cleanest luxury perfume in the world. The first and only luxury fragrance House to fully adhere to Breast Cancer UK’s Chemicals of Concern lists. We’re dedicated to creating amazing perfumes free from known carcinogens, hormone and endocrine disruptors, and PFAS forever chemicals - without compromising artistry or performance. As the children of cancer survivors, this was super important to Rita and I, and one of the main reasons we joined Josh and Tess on this mission. (Re)designed from the ground up (it takes time to reinvent the science of safe smellies), we've created eight perfumes for anyone and everyone. Mano x Mnrl is about infinite identity and radical purity baby! @manoxmnrl - that’s us and our thing. Oh, and mass love to everyone at @harrods for supporting us and our launch. Especially the staff in the epic black hall who have been incredible. ❤️❤️❤️ #MANOxMNRL #BreastCancerUK #CleanFragrance #HormoneConscious #Harrods by @joshuamanonz

Creating clean perfume takes an ensemble. It’s an immensely collaborative, creative and geeky process, bringing together master perfumers, chemists, creatives and all sorts of brilliant minds and personalities. And one of my favourite little collaborators is you, our little Aia. ❤️ You bring me flowers when I’m working, love smelling absolutely everything, and always know exactly what you like. At just three, you’re already the cheekiest, funniest little character, with a wicked sense which of humour which will take you a long way and very strong opinions on fragrance. Mostly anything that smells like marshmallows or berries. Love you endlessly. ❤️ by @joshuamanonz
@manoxmnrl parfums launch party, showcasing our debut collection of 8 character evoking Eau De Parfums. The beginning of a new chapter in radically clean fragrance. Infinite Identity. Radical Purity. From @joshuamanonz @taikawaititi @ritaora @tessajrich 🖤 by @joshuamanonz
Kia ora friends, welcome to the world of MÁNO × MNRL PARFUMS @manoxmnrl. A contemporary high-perfumery House forged between London and Aotearoa New Zealand, created with depth, creativity and purpose, and built around two ideas: Infinite Identity and Radical Purity. Five years in the making, it turns out pushing high perfumery as far as we possibly can, while also making it radically clean, takes a little time! Together with @taikawaititi, @ritaora and @tessajrich, my co-founders, we finally get to share the world we are building its perfumes, the characters they embody, and the different sides of ourselves they’re crafted to unlock. Who we are, and who we might become. Our debut collection is eight emotive fragrances. Unlocking the known and unknown, the explored and unexplored within ourselves. Infinite Identity. Radical Purity. Joshua MÁNO Gilbertson @joshuamanonz Founder, MÁNO × MNRL by @joshuamanonz
Tess and Josh have long been obsessed with the transformative power of fine fragrance. When Josh was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition in 2011, his doctors told him fragrance was one of the first things to go. Yet rather than leave fragrance behind, he set out to understand it from the inside out—not because he wanted to give it up, but because he felt it made no sense that all fragrance must be dangerous, and he simply loved it too much to walk away. That journey eventually led him to Tess—a designer, creative perfumer and fellow fragrance obsessive. Together, they began exploring how luxury fragrance could evolve in an era of growing concerns around carcinogens, endocrine disruption and forever chemicals. They spent years exploring a simple question: Could luxury fragrance be created to a higher standard without compromising beauty, creativity or performance? After years of development, every ingredient in the collection was chosen to adhere to Breast Cancer UK's Chemicals of Concern Framework 2024–2025. Today that work becomes a collection.
