Loved Jojo Rabbit and read the original text of Kiara and the Sun. The problem here is that, like the Thor movies, your visions don’t match the pre-established characters and worlds. That’s okay, but you need to be able to recognize your art isn’t for everyone and can’t properly interpret everything 🤍

1) "I do listen to the people" (turns off comments). 2) The Audience Score is now down to 74%. 3) Since you "haven't read a review...in almost 15 years", I'll fill you in. Anyone remotely familiar with the RT Audience Score, knows that it's very generous. Anything widely enjoyed and not divisive should easily clear 80%, if not 85%. 74% is not a strong score. 4) Since you want to "listen to the people", the IMDb score is 6.4/10, and the Letterboxd score is 3.1/5. 5) Attacking critics is like complaining about the ref...no one does it when they're winning. 6) Dismissing critics as "sad lost souls who couldn't achieve their dreams of becoming artists, and thus settled, and became critics" is a pretty low blow. Let me remind you of what your character said in the post-credits scene of your previous film, 'Next Goal Wins': "No matter what happens to you...when the going gets rough, when the chips are down, when you feel like you can't carry on, when you feel like there's no hope, or you just can't do it...anything can happen, and a whole lot of miracles, when you just have a little bit of faith. 7) There are a lot of cautionary tales from the history of Hollywood, of successful filmmakers who become immune to scrutiny and surround themselves with "yes men". Perhaps you could learn something from these reviews. 8) Any artist with any shred of integrity, knows that once you put your work out into the world, it's not yours anymore. And I'm sure that there are plenty of people who liked your film. Art means different things to different people, from the artists to the audience. Just accept it. Be proud of what you've made. It doesn't have to please everyone. But invalidating anyone's experience is not on.
