8/6/2026 - La La Land in Concert

You guys don’t understand how long I’ve been waiting for this concert. Ever since Justin Hurwitz announced the whole project a year or two ago. I’ve been following the concert account for ages, waiting for a date in Melbourne. And now here we are. Genuinely one of the best film experiences and concert experiences ever. I would LOVE to see this again and again. It was not only the orchestra and the movie, it was also the lighting that helped make it an experience like never before.

The reason why I haven’t posted anything from the Masayoshi Takanaka concert back in April was because a lot of the footage was obstructed by loads of heads. I was too small lol.

Well that’s enough of La La Land posts today :)

Hi! My film composition portfolio is finally out! You can check my LINK IN BIO to access it! It consists of MIDI mockups with the use of free plugins… (do you really think I can afford live musicians?)

If you swipe, you’ll have an idea of what I’ve got to offer. I’ve got 9 of my favourite compositions posted in the portfolio. They are also public on my YouTube channel. (JoshyMcSqushy)

This portfolio took me around almost 2 years to put together. So I’d highly appreciate it if you’d check it out :) I’d love to hear thoughts, feedback and criticisms.

Melbourne. Palais Theatre. 7/9/2024. @laufey

The quality of the photos and videos are awful lol.
I have around 43 videos and photos of the concert, they’re apparently too much for Instagram so unfortunately I cannot post them all.

I’ll be posting them on my alt account I’m tired lol.
