190 lbs down to 160 lbs

Just calories in vs calories out, prioritizing protein intake, lifting heavy, getting my steps in, and approaching weight loss for the first time without restrictive diets or unsustainable habits. Praise God 🙏

Cheers to building discipline 🥂

Last pic: * I wasn’t even weighing at home when I hit 190 (which is why the scale only says I went up to 186 lbs)
Also proof that weight loss journeys are never linear

Thankful to God for another year of life and friendship with Jesus 💛 by @josiahcandler

God- He’s such a faithful friend

I know it’s been quiet around here, but want to wish you all a Merry Christmas.
Just so overcome by the miracle of Jesus Christ’s birth this season and in these lyrics.
Jesus’ birth, life, death, and resurrection are His free gift to you 🤍

In light of recent events, here’s a gentle reminder to give your body, mind, and soul a little extra care today 🤍 by @josiahcandler

Everyone seems to be going to Hawai’i this year! Not to mention there’s the added hype of Moana 2 being released right before the start of the year then Lilo & Stitch live action being released this year.

🌺 The Hawaiian and more broadly, Polynesian culture, is finally getting the recognition and representation it deserves! Hawai’i truly is one of the most magical places on earth and this trip had highs I’ll probably be chasing for the rest of my life.
🏝️🌀🐠🤙🏽
You’ve still got time so grab your friends and book that flight! Aloha! ✈️

If “Hozier’s Yell” is reserved for peak human experiences, just wait until you experience the Holy Spirit in moments like these and the vibes are off the charts

This new song from @philwickham goes crazy btw

Side-note: Sunrise at Lanikai Beach in O’ahu, Hawai’i was absolutely unreal and needs to be on your bucket list and I’ll be posting a vlog about this adventure in the near future

Just a peaceful evening in Denver and I feel so happy and at peace; years ago that wasn’t exactly the case.

I know there are those of you who are going through hard times and I want to tell you to trust me— there are sunrises and sunsets you have yet to experience, in beautiful places where you never thought you’d end up.

If you need a sign, this is it. Stay.

May is around the corner and it’s mental health awareness month, but for some reason felt led to post this tonight.

Visiting a surf shop on the North Shore we were told by a local surfing instructor about a great place to learn. We didn’t end up having the time to return for lessons, but we visited the beach that evening, set out our towels, and decided to hang out till sunset.

The whole scene became a show of light and gold with families enjoying the chill island vibes, keiki playing in the shallow water, and locals surfing and paddle boarding, catching wave after wave.

Grateful to God for the perfect peace in this moment 🤍

Chat, we made it to Hawaii 🌺🌴

More later but right now just feeling so thankful to God for His faithfulness, His steadfast love, and the gift of this moment
