With Tanzanian Writer & Director, Johnny Hendrix @im_hendrix on focus over distraction. It seems preoccupation with the latest film gears is a problem in the international filmmaking space. Some stories die before they get the chance to see the light of day - because the filmmaker couldn’t do it without the “right film tech”. Hendrix didn’t let that attitude stop him from filming his TV pilot in the heart of Stone Town, Zanzibar. His creativity and a supportive team at @rockcitypictures was all he needed to create his proof of concept for the up liking series HER, which raises awareness for how African families to find and put a stop to human trafficking.
