Remi Joan is the sweetest little addition to our lives. We love her so. 💕 Thank you to @jadecreates for capturing these sweet moments in our home. by @josiahzdesign
We are delighted to announce the arrival of our beautiful baby girl, Remi Joan Zimmerman. 💕 She was born on 3.08.26, weighing 7 lb 14 oz, and measuring 19” long. Remi is derived from the Yoruban name, Oluremi, meaning, “God comforts me”. Joan is of Hebrew origin, meaning, “God is gracious” and is the middle name of Jenni’s maternal Grandmother, Nancy Joan. We hope that Remi grows to be like her late Great Grandmother in her devotion to her faith, her deep love for her family, and her sassy spirit. We are over the moon in love with her and can’t wait to see who she becomes. 💕 by @josiahzdesign
Words can’t express the love we have felt over the past two weekends from our friends & family. Our hosts were so gracious and generous to open their spaces and give so much of their time. We are humbled by all of those who came to the showers and supported us and those who have sent their love and support from afar. We are comforted by your care for us and for our daughter and know that we couldn’t do this without you all! 💕 by @josiahzdesign
Last year, the team at @burnsmcdonnell reached out for a fresh perspective on their iconographic assets library, as part of the rollout of their redesigned brand system. Under their direction, we worked together to build a fully-custom icon library of over 200 icons (and still growing), led by the reduced and impactful sensibilities that their new design system was built on. I’m proud of this one—this was a massive effort. 🙏 Many thanks to Kael Little and Krista Masilionis for the trust and direction on such an undertaking! 13 years of being married to my best friend and the love of my life. I love looking back at photos every anniversary and reliving our years together. I love you more than words can ever express and I can’t wait for all of the laughter and life to come. Happy 13th Anniversary, my Love. by @josiahzdesign
IMPACT + ALT GOTHIC = THIS Still a good amount of work left to go, but hoping to release some iteration of this later this year. by @josiahzdesign

Last year, the brand team @burnsmcdonnell reached out for a fresh perspective on their iconographic assets library, as part of the rollout of their redesigned brand system ✏️🏗️ We worked together to build a fully-custom icon library of over 200 icons (and still growing) for usage across the company globally, led by the confident and impactful sensibilities that the new design system was built on. Looking forward to sharing more from this one —for now, here’s a mesmerizing little pinwheel of a portion of them 🌀 View more work on my site → josiahz.com by @josiahzdesign
🍪✨Monstrous handmade cookies, with nostalgia in every bite. Following naming and a logo, Thy Aliment was in need of a larger-than-life brand expression for their website. In tandem with @brainsinew, we created a full system of design, boosting the flavor and personality in the brand up to eleven. From badges, to patterns, to photo art direction, to motion, we created a brand system that came alive on the website that showcases what it feels like to share these giant, joyful, and delicious cookies. Had some fun with this one—thanks for the trust and collaboration, Brian ✨ Also, thanks to @gavin.peters.photo for the beautiful photography 📷 by @josiahzdesign

⚡ Instinct Display ⚡ Blending contemporary forms with traditional roots, Instinct Display bridges the gap between old-school and new-school design sensibilities, resulting in a stylish, editorially-focused display serif. As with most of my typeface work, its origins were in an unused independent brand project from years ago. If you’re interested, you can buy this on Gumroad (link in bio). 2025 will be the year: I’m steadily looking to integrate more heavy-hitting, small character set typeface design into the brand work I’m taking on. If you’re looking for proprietary type design for your brand → let’s talk. by @josiahzdesign
