dear worship leaders/ministry friends. pls don’t get so lost in what you do you forget who you do it for. the influence, the stages, the mics, the lights, the crowds, it’s all meaningless if your heart doesn’t have Jesus at the forefront of it all. i’m still at a loss for words to describe all that happened at @thetentyoungadults this saturday, but ya’ll Jesus was in the room. my sister @themarypagan gave such timely word and a question she asked resonated in my heart. are you truly willing? bro, are you willing to be uncomfortable for the sake of Christ? are you willing to sacrifice everything YOU thought was good for you in place of what God KNOWS is good for you? (even though you may not like it). are you truly willing to lay down your life and pick up your cross daily? you see i struggled with this for a while cause i like things done “my way” cause im comfortable in my way, but if there’s anything that obedience has taught me its that his rewards are greater than anything i think i can gain for myself. I realized that “my way” was leaving me more tired, more anxious, and more fearful of what was to come. it wasn’t until i realized that JESUS is my REWARD, HE is the PRIZE and HIS WAYS ARE GREATER THAN MY OWN. that’s what’s helped me stop striving for earthly successes and temporal happiness. knowing Jesus and truly knowing him, participating in his suffering, and becoming like him EVEN IN DEATH to somehow obtain the power of resurrection thru Him is the single greatest gift the father has ever given me. to know jesus and to be found in him.

so saints i encourage ya don’t chase a prize that never valued you chase the one who valued you so much he gave up everything to have you.

do the same for him, he deserves it. 💛

one church, one body, one bride, hungry for the return of its savior.

God thank you, because you didn’t have to call me but yet you did. you have called me for such a time as this and that is something i do not take for granted. keep molding me, keep transforming me, and keep using me for your Glory. None of this is possible without you.

what a night with my @resonatenj family. thank you guys for trusting in me and giving me the opportunity to serve my generation it’s something that i’ll remember for the rest of my life. to this amazing worship team: ya’ll YOU GUYS ARE SO SPECIAL. it was an honor and privilege to be able to love on Jesus with each and every single one of ya. to many more resonates to come!!! ❤️

Dear Dad,
I just want to thank you, I want to thank you because you are creative. You placed the moon and the stars in place, you wove together such an intricate design of creation, and in the dance of life you gave us the gift of music. not just a gift for us to be “entertained” by a catchy lyric or outstanding melody but a gift to bring glory and honor to your name. I thank you because in your eyes i’m still that same little hyperactive kid from a small church in Paterson NJ that would wake up and not be able to wait to get to church and to sing, laugh, play but simply just be in your presence. I thank you because you’ve made me creative just like you, the things I would think most people would find “weird” about me you love. you love me, my voice, my personality and you love all that i make for you. so I hope that when you see and hear this it can put a smile on your face. and I know you already got it hung up on your refrigerator up in heaven, the same way my dad did when i’d bring him home paintings from school. all that I will do, for all my life, is only for you. for the honor of YOUR NAME.
