Decided to play around with paper for the latest Howtown video, which is all about how paleontologists reconstruct giant pterosaurs like Quetzalcoatlus from fragmentary fossils, and whether shows like “Prehistoric Planet” are grounded in science. by @jossfong

How would you test astrology? Spencer Greenberg worked with a group of astrologers to design a test that they thought they could pass. Instead of using zodiac signs, which aren’t the focus of professional astrologers, they used birth charts for 12 real people. In our interview he said “If astrology works, I want to believe it works. And if astrology doesn’t work, I want to believe it doesn’t work.” In light of the results, he recommends the Big Five Personality Test as a more accurate way of learning about yourself. The World Happiness Report ranks countries every year, based on a representative survey that asks people about their life satisfaction. Finland has topped the list for seven years, but Latin America stands out for the region’s happiness relative to GDP. Check out our YouTube channel for the full explainer on the measurement of happiness and the cultural factors that might influence the results 😄 by @jossfong

They say you should write what you know. I know about mixing oatmeal with bananas and baking at 350 for 15 minutes. Forced my favorite snack into the latest Howtown video on how they calculate the Calories for food labels. Full recipe in the comments on YouTube :) by @jossfong

Seven years ago I called up a bunch of solar eclipse chasers to find out what makes them follow the moon’s shadow all over the world. Much of what they said remains relevant for this year’s eclipse on April 8. After this one, we’ll have to wait another 20 years for the next total eclipse in the US. 🌚 by @jossfong

For today's video on how AI chatbots are disrupting education, I interviewed 30 really thoughtful teachers and students about what they're seeing in school. Despite the assumption that students are just copying and pasting essays, I found that they're mostly using ChatGPT like a search engine for information and ideas. I'm not sure that's a good thing though.
