I had the biggest void growing up not having a present dad. It created core wounds in me that I was never enough. That I had to be perfect to be seen. My mom told me make sure I pick the right man to have children with. And I used to see it as resentment toward our dad for being absent. But she was right. I have seen so many different versions of Josh. The moody teenager, the party 20 something, the newly wed, and a father. And damn. I picked right. He is the best daddy. All the daddy issues I have, he helps heal them. He loves our girls hard. He prays for them. He is patient with them. He teaches them. He shows me affection, kindness, and adoration. And our girls see it. They never have to question if they are worthy. They are always seen. They know they are worth more than their beauty. They know daddy will always be there. Unconditionally. Josh, you are the piece that holds us girls together. You carry our burdens. You support all of our dreams. I am so thankful I picked the right man to be the father of my children. Happy Father’s Day to the ultimate father. We love you endlessly. by @jossssh
