In this new Scent drop I reflected on the clothes that become the allies of a physical discipline.
To train the body is to contemplate it: to understand its limits, to inhabit it fully. If the body is a temple in continious construction the garments that participate in the process must become tools and time saving aparats.
My idea was to subtly alter the aesthetic of sports clothes, making it more theatrical but conserving the minimal and functional aspects of it.
I projected my own needs in this practice: to make something that I can wear to train and to function all day without melting the formality that showing up to work requires and that rapid lifestyles demands.
In my 10 year path of making clothes I have come closer to the idea of conceiving new performatic uniforms that still posses a dark elegant connotation as well as intertwining the boundaries of what to wear for training and working.
I hope this new collection of garments make you feel empowered, dynamic and comfortable ! Directed by @josvalman Images and edition by @_sebastianbuitron Starring @alexxcarranzaa_ @castingbyher Music Anthology of Turkish Experimental Music 1961 - 2014 by @josvalman
